Sanding Detailer Finishing Kit, Finer Grits, 24 Piece

Must have for scale modeling. I don't know how I would get in tight little spaces without these tools. My only negative is I wish they made a finer grit option, like 800 or 1000. What it comes with is works good but is sometimes too rough for my needs.

I needed to sand a chest that had a number of small panels and thought these small strips might make it easier to get into all the small spaces. They did work but since all the sanding was focused in a very small area of the paper I had to move the paper frequently and this ended up taking too much time. I did use them on a small project and they worked well. Seem well made and are holding up so far.

I use these to sand things I print with my 3D printer, including figurines. They work like a charm. They are easy to hold and provide different edges for tackling tight spaces and others. I love that the belts are replaceable.

Totally awesome for detail sanding. I do scrollsawing, woodburning, furniture refinishing, and just about anything that "catches my fancy". I've been cutting up emory boards for detail sanding, but they don't hold up well. These little babies are tough, simple to use, and make sanding and detail work a snap. I love the assortment of fine grit bands they come with. I've ordered replacement bands as well, but they come with several of each size. Really what I've needed for years.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I'm just kicking myself for not having looked for this sooner. I do pyrography and sandpaper is my eraser. I've managed before with regular sandpaper, folded up in appropriate sized pieces to try to erase without erasing too much.... This, however, has made life so much easier. Love the variety of grit and the color coding. Between the sharp end and the rounder end, I'm now able to easily erase in small spaces without taking out anything I don't want erased. I'm currently working on hair. I can now erase individual strands of hair! It's amazing!!! So if you're woodburning and wondering if this tool is for you - yes, yes, it absolutely is :) So..... if you're a woodburner and you're wondering if this is worth your money.... it absolutely is!!

I use these when I build plastic model kits. love 'em. I can get into all kinds of tight places now. No more cutting sandpaper and gluing them to sticks. Ive used sanding sticks and I'm not a fan. They don't last. Currently working on my third model using these and I haven't opened the bag of spare sanding belts yet. I really like that you can just give the paper a little push and you have a new sanding surface.

I haven't used this set personally but as a 22 year machinist I have used similar ones in the past. Great tool for many applications
