These plasticised ties really are brilliant. I used one to close up the legs on a chicken I'd stuffed and was roasting. Worked perfectly and, unlike the old-fashioned way of fastening with string, the tie was really easy to use, and lock into place with the retaining ring, and even easier to remove afterwards. And then you can just wash the length of tie afterwards, so can be used again and again. A great buy!

keeps joint together well but not too tightly, which is good, can use two together if longer length required.

Tried to use them to tie up my turkey crown , when I eventually got the end through the loop to fasten kept coming undone ( on all of them ) had to send someone out to buy string . Don't bother wasting your money

Je voulais remplacer le file culinaire again de faire des economies et pour avoir qqch de durable.Je acheté et tester des réceptions.Facile à nettoyer, facile à placer (autour d'un poivron farci)Fonctionne ! Tient l'aliment en place, la chapreua de mon poivron n'est pas parti, contrairement au autre que nous avions fait avec le file culinaire.
