This item is very comfortable and very warm. I'm 5'-11" 200 pounds. The large fits me perfectly.

It layers easily over a T-shirt or under a heavier winter coat, and I never feel restricted when moving around. With the early frigid air we've had, it has been incredibly useful as a layer to wear under my winter coat. The fit is spot-on and true to size, with enough room to be comfortable while still looking clean and put-together. The fleece has a slightly structured feel rather than a slick or overly plush texture, which gives it a more durable, outdoorsy (I call it my “New England") vibe. The hand pockets are practical and comfortable, and the additional storage is genuinely useful for carrying everyday essentials without needing a bag. I always have tissues, keys, and all kinds of other things I carry around with me, so for me having USEFUL pockets is essential. The zipper operates smoothly, and the elastic detailing around the cuffs and hem helps keep warmth in without feeling tight. Style-wise, it’s versatile and understated – again, something I like. The design works just as well for casual errands as it does for travel or light outdoor activity, and the branding is subtle enough that it isn’t annoying. Overall, this fleece delivers exactly what I want from a dependable midweight jacket: comfort, quality construction, smart design, and versatility. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for reliable warmth without unnecessary bulk, especially for use in layering with other clothing/winter coats. It's five stars from me. 👍

This fleece jacket is... Not quite lightweight but not heavy either. It's soft but not the smooth soft type. The fit is perfect and warmer than I expected. I usually work in an office that gets really cold and needed a personal heater. With this jacket, I still feel the coldness, but haven't had the need to use the heater yet. The quality of the jacket is great, very well made and comfortable on the body. However, the only thing I don't like is that the collar is kind of uneven causing it to poke in on my neck a little.

I picked up this Merrell Jungle Fleece in the Harvest color and I’ve basically been living in it ever since. The midweight fleece is warm enough for cold mornings but not bulky, so I can wear it running errands, on hikes, or just around the house without overheating. Very on trend with a different but not obnoxious color. The chest pocket and the hidden zip side pockets fit my phone and keys without feeling awkward or bulky. The mock neck and elastic cuffs help keep the wind out and it layers really nicely over a tee or under a heavier jacket. It feels well made and sturdy and still soft and comfortable, which is kind of the perfect combo. I'm a little tall and the sleeves were a TAD short feeling on the medium though. Honestly this has become my go to jacket and I’d definitely buy another color.
