Great value and does the job.
I bought this less expensive charger as a second unit for my motorcycles and found it to work as well as the more expensive Optimate 4 Dual program charger.

Easy to use
Just hook it up and it does the rest. I have an 05 convertible that I don’t drive in the winter. Battery was run down and car would not start. After charging the battery for a few hours it started and now is just keeping battery trickle charged.

Good product, well built and simple to use. Connection to battery fairly straightforward and simple display to indicate the mode the charger is in when in use. It is either charging the battery or in the charge maintenance mode, indicated by lights on charger.

The Optimate 2 is an excellent trickle charger-maintainer. It works great especially with the new style portable generator battery that are stored in an unheated location. By connecting the maintainer to the battery it keeps it charged and warm so the electric start will work in extremem cold weather.
