YU Yuphoria YU5010A (Black+Silver)

After 2 days of use here are my observations DESIGN-4.5/5 it looks premium edges look beautiful and is pretty light(my personal opinion as I was earlier using hongmi note 4G which is quite heavy) Performance 5/5 performance is quite good till now no problem has played NFS most wanted, wwe 2k and wwe immortals on this device when I received this it initially heated but not now can run many apps at same time without any lag Camera4/5 rear camera is good for outdoors but suffer in indoors but it's not a big issue as what can you expect at this price point front cam is awesome better than my hongmi note Display4/5 display is good but deducting one star as the buttons are on screen which means it's a bit short of 5 inches but that's not a big issue Battery 4.5/5 battery performance is good for me as I am a moderate user it has also got quick charge of snapdragon and battery reaches from 5 to 100 in approx 1hr 10min Other features4.5/5-it has got double tap wake up, has smart wakeup feature in settings to wake app by gestures, screen cast Accessories provided earphones are just OK you get a screengaurd an usb and charger along with manual in the box Bottom line-go for this phone you can't get any better at this price point but it hasn't got a notification led so if that is not a problem go for it

1.build quality is cheap ,the back panel is very low class and weak... 2.display is ok and if you want to use it in sunshine forget about that 3.performance is weak....,heats up pretty bad even for basic tasks can play a few high end games but need more load times Multitasking is ok but that too takes a blow when there are lots of them running simultaneously.. 4.Battery. Backup is nothing out of the extra ordinary...its a mix bag something it can easily get me through the day,sometimes it struggles even through half of the day, 5.camera is average meaning it can take decent shots with good Colour reproduction but lacks quality..i'd say it ok in this price bracket...(i mean i had brought it for 5499/-) And the front camera is good for selfies.. I'd say this is a pick for those who are just entering from a feature phone to an Android system , because the ui you get is pretty close to vanilla os(lollipop,in this case) with minimal bloatware... which is removable.

Its not amazing...but its good Screen, Sound, Processor, RAM, Heating Problem (It has improved after update) Can u get better mobiles than this...? Answer is yes...but at what price this is the bigger Question. I paid 3824 Rs for this phone in Diwali sale...its cheap as a year old phone..... so yes its a good phone at a amazing price.... :) HI this is Saurabh...I am not a reviewer but a mobile enthusiast. 15th Oct,2015 (Last Year) I bought this mobile for a friend, used it for a day or so It was OK..I paid 6500Rs that time,from 9am battery barely made it across to 7pm on moderate usage... Rest all is same wht everyone else is saying This time i bought for myself at 3850 Rs..coz i needed a secondary device..i used it for 2 days but this was different...1stly the cost was a factor then then I realized it has very Quick charging..so if you can plug it for even 20min..during a tea break may be..it can last you through the day, I liked the 5 inch size and I liked the stock android even more... So its at a good price guys grab it before its gone...

Hey friends,i want to say something about this phone which everyone has to if you all dont believe me than i can say that there is limit of foolishness.... So friends the yuphoria which is come on stock android it is the very low quality and very cheap phone it is not worth for rs.1000 and as we all know that the yuphoria based on cyanogen mod and in that phone there is written made in china the whole phone which have written made in china in back side are the amazing phones and very well customized by chinese but as it is made in india so there us nothing perfect in it even the headphones which come inside are very cheap and worth for only 10 rs...... Actually i buyed this phone not only once i buyed two times once for me and again for my brother both the time i experience it anf it does not match user satisfaction not only me but my brother also so i returned it and thanks to amazon that they have a vety good services... The customer care of this yu has full of duffers and one thing i remind u all that there is no any patch up between micromax and yu so friends dont think it because micromax has launched there perfect and fully tested devices not full of scratches just like yuphoria.... One thing i remind yu televentures are making fool to whole indians and they can send used phones to all customers in india if u dont believe me buy it and see the battery panel of it i 100% sure that there are some scratches which is made by its 1,2,3or i dont know how many users.. Last month i take out all dreams of yuphoria from my mind yo flush and i buy redmi 2 prime which also have same config...believe me there is big difference on both devices the sound quality display ANDROID rom etc. So friends if you want the phone which you can usr as primary phone so please choose diffrent but not yuphoria because it not have worth for ur money the yu televentures just ending there unuseful stock which all users where returned... I give you one sign from which you can test this yuphoria First on the device and use it without off it for 2 days you can see that there is so many lags come after the full day use..

I wanted a low priced dual sim Android phone as a secondary phone. So, I was looking for a cheap phone with that standard '1GB-8GB-Mediatek' phones for a long time. But none of them could really come up to the mark. And I felt Android One phones to be overpriced for the kind of hardware they r offering. During this search I chanced upon Yu Yuphoria. However, I have the least confidence on a Micromax product; I never bought one nor dared to do so....coz I heard thousands of horror stories about Micromax quality, their sure-as-hell laggy screens, abysmal customer service, and their tons of bugs in each device. Nevertheless, I bought this since this has 64 bit Snapdragon 410 processor, Cyanogen/stock Android (thanks to Micromax's association with Android One) and 2GB RAM, 16 GB memory and all this, in the same price range of 1GB-8GB chepos. My gamble paid off. This device turned out to be a very decent one as a secondary phone. The brightest spot is its battery life. I have WiFi 24x7, I read news papers, listening to streaming songs, watch YouTube a bit, make few calls a day, installed around 40 apps, including Truecaller, True messenger, Nova Launcher, WhatsApp etc,.... Even with all these, I usually get more than 2 full days of battery life. This is amazing. However, I should say, I know a bit about using an Android device. I tweaked the settings to use less battery, like switching off the gesture controls, my house and work locations are not too far away from cell coverage... That way, I am able to get decent battery life from this device. Further, the software is stock Android.. so, no complaints there. And hardware is more than the best u can get at the price. My only complaint is it is still running Lollipop. And I don't even think Micromax would be interested in releasing software updates. However, I will take care of this by shifting to Cyanogen later next year. I do recommend this phone for ppl who know a thing about working with Android and who r not heavy users. And frankly, I didn't test this for gaming.

After a week of use my experience with the phone is as follows. It is a good looking phone with good performance. PROS: * RAM = 2GB * Internal storage = 16GB * HD Display (1280X720) * Gorilla Glass 3 * Clean user interface and does not lag. * Camera : REAR= 8MP as the name says picture quality is very good. FRONT= 5MP , I can say this coz picture quality is quite impressive. * Has almost all the sensors which you can get only on phones with price range of 10K-20K. * Bright flash light till now I Didn't see in any mobile I used. * Didn't show any errors till now. * Developer support(XDA/LINEAGE).(Yes it is - If you are dare enough to customize your device and want to experience latest flavors of android opt for this! ) CONS: * multi touch issue(OS problem - Changing ROM solved my issue.) * Has slight heating issue when used for a long time. YU Televentures has said that normal operating temperature of mobile is 46 celcius, But sometimes it goes to 50-58 celcius with continuous use for hours and gaming. I Think that is not a big issue at all. * Its time to upgrade! Waiting for Android 6.X Marshmallow update. OVERALL REVIEW: It is a best phone which is be affordable at this price range. If you are a average user and want high performance and latest specs go for this. Hope that there will be further update of the review!

THE BEST Mobile At This Price Point. I would give 6 starts instead of 5 for the value for money factor and it’s a 4G phone. Phone came with pre-loaded Lollipop 5.1.1. Even though I wanted to go for cyanogen mod, after learning about challenges, I was happy to go with android version of Yuphoria. I was hesitant to invest money on this reading some bad reviews. However, took a chance as I wanted to treat this as my secondary phone. But after starting using this phone for last 15 days it surpassed all my expectation. I purposely delayed writing the review so that I can get to know if there is any shortfall in this mobile. However, to my surprise, I stopped using my Nexus7 1st Gen tab after buying this phone. This phone is 5 times more responsive than the tab. 2GB RAM (fastest response time in this category) 16 GB internal memory (Need not have to worry about the memory space very often and keeping moving to SD card) 32 GB expandable (yes, you can move apps to memory card) Good Screen resolution Good Camera Good Battery (easily last for a day with 3G - moderate use) Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Some other good features are, wake up screen gesture, puts less pressure on power buttons. As I mentioned above, you can move apps to SD card (except some google-android stock apps). Cons: phone heats up a little, but it never burn your hand.. Lol.. Verdict: Don’t hesitate buy this as this is the best value for money phone available in the market today Rs.5999 (Amazon blockbuster deal price MRP between 6999 – 6499)
