Soft Cervical Collar Support That Can Help at Night (If You Nail the Sizing)
Soft Cervical Collar Support That Can Help at Night (If You Nail the Sizing) I ordered this soft foam cervical collar mainly for those nights when my neck and shoulders feel tight and “angry” from too much desk time, driving, or sleeping in a weird position. The idea here isn’t traction or a miracle cure — it’s gentle support that limits how much your neck can crank into a bad angle while you’re resting. What I like: This style of collar is noticeably more wearable than the hard, stiff medical collars. The foam is padded enough to feel supportive under the jaw, and the contoured shape helps it sit in a more natural position instead of feeling like a brick around your neck. The Velcro closure makes it easy to dial in the fit quickly, and it’s simple to put on/take off without fuss. The fabric on the outside feels soft and not scratchy, and it’s lightweight enough that you can actually tolerate it while reading or winding down — which is kind of the whole point with a “sleep-friendly” collar. It also works well as a “reset” tool after a long day when you can feel your upper traps and neck muscles holding tension. Things to keep in mind: Sizing is everything with this product. If it’s even a little too big, you won’t get meaningful support and it can feel awkward or unstable. The listing’s reminder to measure neck circumference and the height from jaw to collarbone is legit — don’t guess. If you’re between sizes, going larger might be more comfortable, but too large means it won’t sit snugly enough to actually limit motion. Also, even though it’s marketed for sleeping, not everyone is going to love sleeping in any collar. Some people will find the foam core too firm, and little details like the inner tag or where the Velcro edge lands can be irritating if you’re sensitive or you move around a lot at night. I’d recommend trying it first while watching TV/reading for 20–30 minutes to see if any pressure points show up before committing to a full night. Finally, this is support, not a substitute for a pillow. The most comfortable setup is usually a decent pillow plus this collar as a gentle “guardrail” to keep your neck from folding forward or twisting too far. Bottom line: A decent, affordable soft neck support that can help reduce nighttime neck strain and limit awkward movement — but the comfort and effectiveness come down heavily to proper measuring and fit. If you’re expecting a super plush, barely-there feel, this may be firmer than you want, but if you want gentle structure without a rigid collar, it can be a helpful tool.

Awesome
I was going to return it because it looked so pointless after the fact. However I tried it and would love to report to anyone having tingling numbers hands during sleep. This small soft flexible neck collar is absolutely AMAZING. Zero tingling, zero numbness and comfortable enough for a nude sleeper. Highly recommend

Great Value.
I got this to keep with my "first aid" type items. I don't do much driving right now but when I had a long daily commute? I would have killed for one of these! I'm definitely one of those people that hold my stress in my neck/jaw/shoulder area and there have been times when my head feels like a bowling ball balanced up there. Well technically it is, right? Ha ha. I have read it weighs about the same ... I read other people's reviews before I ordered this and am somewhat basing my review on those. Other customer's have reported it offers good relief/support and while I hope I never have to use it? I'm glad I have it ... just in case. It certainly appears well made and is adjustable. I would definitely recommend following their sizing guide as the key is it needs to fit correctly. I have tried it on and it is certainly easy to use and reasonably comfortable. I would imagine it would take a little getting used to if you tried to sleep in it but I have been in the position where you are willing to try anything to find relief so I'll take "a little unusual" vs horrible pain every time. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for some relief from neck pain or discomfort. I am definitely going to take it along on my next cross country drive!

Great, affordable way to improve neck posture!
Swear I’m becoming a tortoise from so many hours peering at my phone or iPad. My chin is virtually connected to my chest. Who needs a neck?!??? Remember seeing elderly people with a dowager’s hump, and wondered (perhaps with a wee bit of horror) about how it happened. And, sister, I’m headed down that path. A lot of us are. I mean, that was before the invention of smart phones. For years, I’ve suffered from tightness in my shoulders. Think it causes headaches, dizziness. Apparently, not enough for me to refrain from doing what’s contributing most to those problems - doomscrolling. I’ve gotten a device to hold my device at eye level. Used it mainly to help with pain from a bicep tear. And really, think it’s time to start using it religiously. But thought a neck brace could also help, whether used by itself or along with my iPhone/iPad holding device. I know this is for correcting neck posture during sleep. Think that’s the least of my neck problems. So I’m using this while I’m awake. The size large neck brace measures between 3.5-3.75” across. Think my neck is closer to 3 - 3.25” long, so this one is a little too tall for me - a bit nose in the air when I’m wearing it. Measuring your own neck is tricky, but this is one time when you might want to get someone else’s help to measure in order to get the right size. Think wearing this more comfortably for longer periods of time is dependent upon correct fit. I can, and did, wear the size large, which is a little too wide for my neck, so my neck wasn’t in as neutral a position as it could be, which is better for long term use. But as it was, it created a bit more stretch on neck extensors. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just not as comfortable for longer wear. As it was, I was able to wear it for at least a half hour without pain. The brace is well-made, with strong 1.5” Velcro for secure closure. In black, it actually looks nice enough, so if paired with a long-sleeve black tshirt, it doesn’t scream NECK BRACE. Looked somewhat like a cowl neck. The only thing is my neck got fairly warm in the 30 minutes I wore it.
