Solid performing stereo speakers at a reasonable price.
I had my old speaker for almost 40 years and they finally wore out. These Klipsch speakers were a pretty close match in size any are pretty affordable. These speakers are a bit large for “bookshelf” but they should be on stands so they can be positioned in the room where they sound best. There is a port on the back and quite a bit of difference in the bass registers results from how close the speakers are to walls or hard objects. The included manual has basic tips for positioning. The front grilles are held on with magnets snd can be easily removed if desired. The grilles do not seem to affect the sound much, so either on or off is OK. The speakers arrived well protected with plastic wrap and styrofoam in a sturdy box. Setup is easy. I just had dropped attach the speakers to my existing amplifier. The binding posts on the speakers do not have banana jacks. The thumb screws tighten directly over the incoming wires. Jumpes may be removed to allow woofers and tweeters to be attached to separate amplifiers but that probably isn’t worth doing on compact speakers such as these. Sound quality is pretty good. There seems to be a little emphasis towards the bass end of then sound spectrum. I like to add about 2 dB of emphasis above 2.5 KHz on my preamp to get the sound I like. Changing room position might help, but I am limited for space where I can put the speakers. Over all, I would say the speakers are pretty neutral snd should be good for listening to most types of program material. The sensitivity of the speakers is good and they can be turned up to louder thsn needed with a small amplifier. I have them attached to an older Adcom GFA-555 which puts out more than 100 Watts/channel. It might be a good idea to use an in-line fuse holder with a 3.5 amp fast blow fuse in series with the speaker to help prevent damage to the tweeter in case the amp overloads, for example an input comes loose and picks up loud AC hum. Over all these are pretty solid performing well made speakers and a good value for the money. The speakers should last a long time as long as they are protected from overloads with would subject them to over 100 Watts. There is a newer generation of this model, but it costs more. This model still satisfactory.

Threre great speakers and worth the money
There great speakers and once they break in they will sound perfect. The bass is wonderful and the vocals. I bought the girl friend a Sony str-dh190 that I started to hate. The speakers sounded hi end well they should be. Im not a tweater guy they dont last for me. Im a midrange pa 103 db of sensitivity in a 4 ohm speaker. Kind of guy. So afther running thease speakers afther 15 hours it took days. The problem the sony i could make a grill cheese sandwich on it. I had the audio down on it next to nothing. So the sony the amp section was burning up. I could crank it up a little for two songs then off the receiver went. I like midrange speakers pa 6.5 like the woofers in thease you can get a lot of bass out of them with a amplifier in the reciever. When I first cranked them I said my pa midranges would blow thease speakers out the room. I changed my mind when you got a reciever on 4 ohms you got double the power. My 6.5 midrange use to bounce the floor in on bass and the treble you can get right out of a midrange you got a real reciever you turn the treble up to a + 4 and there's your tweater. So my point thease speakers have hi fidelity and bass with the volume down there wonderful. The pa speakers wanted high volume to wake up the dance floor. So I waiting on fans for the sony but the bass on thease klipsch speakers should bounce the walls if the sony would stay cool. Buy thease speakers I dont even have my hi fi quad dac on my LG v30 music phone im going through blue tooth. I took the 3.5 mm jack out and they still sound good. Threr professional ported built speakers.

Klipsch RP600M II
So after reading and watching the many reviews on YouTube, e.g. Audiophiles, CheapAudioMan, etc. I was intrigued. I have several high end systems and needed a small pair of bookshelves for my bedroom. The system consists of a small tube amp at 6w per channel and a separate DAC. I do not want to list the brands, as this is about the Speakers. Long story short, I am very impressed. The 6W with the high efficiency is enough to fill the room with lovely dynamic sound. My genre is mostly female vocals, rock, indie, and some heavy metal. Dead Sara, Stephanie Hatzikolis, Freya Ridings, and Meg Myers, to list a few. So it covers the gamut of styles. The speakers are airy and has a nice top end without being harsh as horns can be. The bass was very nice and articulate for such a small speaker. I do not feel I need a sub for such a small room. It's about 10 by 12. So not huge. If running in a larger room, I would think you could benefit from the use of sub but for my needs it's just fine. For grins I ran the speakers on my reference system with is a high current, high output system. They sounded even better. I ran them about three feet into the room, they were about 6 inches from the wall in my bedroom. They really opened up, so I think the better your system, or system synergy, the better they perform so depends on what you are trying to achieve I suppose. Overall, five stars for value to performance. If you want concert level output, go with towers. But if you just want amazing sound quality at a good value, these will more than suffice. These would be considered an excellent entry level audiophile speaker in my opinion. The imaging is amazing, sound stage is a but lacking as far as depth but that was improved with my outboard DAC. Not perfect, but wow, for the money! Pull the trigger! Also, if it's not your cup of tea, they would be easy to sell and recoup the majority if not all of your money, or just return them. Worth your time I think!

Awesome.
Always wanted a pair since its debut. Finally got a pair at $350. Did not disappoint in anyway. Clear and crisp highs and mids. Bass is clean and tight. I was expecting to just hook it up, listen to them for a day or two, put away and have a new addition to the collection, but I have yet to stop listening to them. At $350 …No cons I can think of.

Great Dynamic Speaker
Some of the best speakers that Klipsch ever made besides the new ones, the clips RP 600 M2‘s now these speakers are pretty dynamic. They have a V shape frequency response. It could be a little bit better on the mid range, but you know you can always find tune that in the equalizer of your receiver I use these as surround sound and they sound fantastic pair them up with a subwoofer or anything like that they will shine so yeah definitely get your hands on them if you can with a cheap price that it is

An absolute steal for their current asking price
I've seen several glowing reviews of these over the past couple years and finally decided to see what the hype was about. And yeah, these live up to their lofty reputation. They have a nice smooth sound, and for those who may be under that old notion that Klipsch is a party speaker, that's not what these are. These are quite clear and refined in their presentation, never sounding harsh or strained, even at higher volumes (~85-87db which is about as high as I care to take them). Imaging is excellent. But the best compliment I can give them is that they sound bigger than they are. The bass is really impressive for their size and the midrange sounds full and articulate. Even with their impressive bass output, I have them paired with a subwoofer, and it all sounds fantastic. These are a definite improvement over the Yamaha speakers they're replacing. At their current price, these are a steal.
