BAXA ExactaMed Oral Liquid Medication Syringe 0.5cc/0.5mL 10/PK Amber Medicine Dose Dispenser with Cap Exacta-Med Baxter Comar Latex Free

Work great to give my cat her liquid pain med that goes in her cheek pouch & the syringe fits perfect in the little stopper in the med bottle to draw up the med without spilling. Also the measuring marks on the syringe don’t dissolve in oil. The compounding pharmacy I get her med from sends a syringe w the order (& the top that goes on the med bottle for a syringe to fit in to draw up the med). The problem is the med is suspended in oil so after a few times the measuring marks printed on their syringes wipe off bc of the oil I think. These baxa syringes do not have that problem at all. I’ve been using the same syringe for awhile & the markings are all still there. After use I wipe it off with a paper towel & nothing printed on the syringe has dissolved or wiped away so I have only used the one syringe out of this pack I ordered so far. They’re red / amber colored & have a little blue cap you can pop on if you want as well. A small 10-pack like this will last me a long time. It doesn’t look like any of the syringe will wear out / off, so it’ll just be for hygienic reasons to swap out to a new one occasionally.

The best dosing syringes for small pets - rats in my case. The scale is very easy to read and durable. Black piston is also easy to see and it makes very easy to get right dose. The quality is excellent.

Worth the price? Not sure about that. However, these work greatfor measuring small amounts of liquid medicine and my pharmacy uses the same brand. The numbers are very small and hard to read with the naked eye, so be prepared to have either a magnifying glass or a pair of readers. I did have one experience where the numbers and measurement lines were rubbed off by medicine that spilled on them. I have kept them dry since that and no issues. Something to keep in mind.

These work fine but have one major flaw. I got them for my baby's vitamin D supplement she takes every day. After washing the plunger sticks but as her vitamin D is oily it works as a lubricant. So, I just pull some into the syringe, squirt it back out into the bottle. Then the second time I pull it into the syringe it works perfectly because the plunger has been lubricated. My MAIN ISSUE with these is that the measurements washed off. I don't have a dishwasher so I washed these by hand and the measurements washed off partially the first time I washed them. By the second wash, I was nervous they would be gone completely. So, I used a sharpie to mark the measurement I need for the vitamin D. I'm SO glad that I did because the measurements are now completely gone and I have to re-sharpie my DIY measurement line every few washes. I wish I had gone with a different syringe but since these are still functional I don't want to replace them. I would not but these again.

Great size syringes if you have to administer medicine or vitamins to a small animal such as a hamster, Guinea pig, rabbit or chinchilla. Easy to load and handle. Make sure you don’t need a full sized syringe. These are reusable and a good value for the money.

Needed this size for my ferrets. These were great, hard to read so be careful, but pretty darn good.
