Does not work -- test immediately or you may be stuck with garbage.
item does not work. even though it's got a QC passed sticker on it i don't believe it. It's shorted out between both ground pins and the IF, which means it doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to do: detect.

Works well, but not trivial
These work well, but two warnings: 1. These are extremely static sensitive. Be cautious with grounding. 2. The output needs to be amplified and filtered before it's useful for most purposes. There are various op-amp circuits floating around the internet that work well.
