I am completely satisfied with this mini split ac. It was easy to install and has my 160 square ft. craft shed so cold and comfortable. It is quiet both the inside unit and outside. I would highly recommend it

Very happy with my purchase. The instructions were a little challenging to follow for me as I haden't ever installed something like this before but luckily many of these minisplits are very similar so a quick YouTube search provided the information needed. You will need to purchase a mount of some kind I hung mine from the wall. You will also need a 410 to 1/4" adapter to connect a standard vacume pump. A drill with a 2 1/8" to 2 1/2" hole saw to go through the wall and possible a power disconnect on the outside next to the unit. Mine is working great. I didn't need the sealant some suggest as there were no leaks from the lines or joints. There is a rippled design on the inside unit that someone else mentioned but it doesn't bother me. I haven't insulated the cieling yet (its in my garage) but it makes a big difference in the Southern Missouri heat and humidity. Great results from one of the least expensive options on Amazon. I got the 12000 btu unit. Haven't used the heat portion yet. Its also really quiet.

This unit is simply amazing, I cannot praise it enough! I waited until we got a power bill to review it, so that I could be thorough. Firstly, installation was a breeze! It took my husband all of three hours to install it. He IS exceptionally handy, though.We have had no trouble with leaks, noise, or anything else that would be considered a defect. The only part that he needed my help with was making sure that it was centered above the window. It is relatively small, so it’s barely noticeable to me anymore. Secondly, it cools my house like nobody’s business. During the HOTTEST month of this year, we were sitting pretty in a 70 degree house. We were comfortable, and there was no humidity on the main floor of my home. We even used 300 kWh LESS than the month before when we had our central unit running as our main A/C. To me, a gardener, a bonus is that the outdoor unit puts out a lot of condensation. It will fill a 40 gallon tub in about a day and a half. No worries there, though! I popped the plastic tub underneath, and I use the water to fill my watering cans for my flowers. We have even used a battery powered pump and a hose to water our vegetable garden, further saving a bit on utility bills! All in all, I would recommend this unit. We are actually considering another, smaller one for the second story of our house.

Easy to install and works great saving energy.

We have a small side porch that we enclosed and needed a small air conditioner/heater and this was perfect. We had professionals come and install it and they said it was the easiest one they had installed. It cooks just like we wanted and works great. The thermostat on this thing is completely useless. I've been running it for several months now. The thermostat sort of adjusts how hard it runs but doesn't regulate the temp at all. If it's on heat, it keeps heating, on cool it keeps cooling. The unit will cycle on and off but it doesn't stay off for long periods of time. For example it was 70° outside today. When I started the test it was 70° inside as well. I put my unit on cool and set the thermostat at 73°. Several hours later it was 60° inside and the unit was still cycling on and off and still cooling.
