Practical Tool for Between Therapy Sessions
My therapist introduced me to DBT work with a focus on WiseMind, and between sessions I often found myself struggling to remember exactly what we discussed. Having something I could flip through at home felt necessary, so I picked up these cards. The deck covers four modulesโMindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectivenessโeach card sized at 2.5" by 3.9". The double-sided layout works well: one side shows what the skill is and what it achieves; the back explains when to use it, gives a real situation example, and walks through four concrete steps you can actually complete in five minutes or less. That practicality matters when you're stressed. You don't want to read a paragraph; you want to know what to do right now. The cards are clean and minimal, which keeps them from feeling cluttered in the moment. They're portable enough to carry or keep on a nightstand. The print is legible without being oversized. I've found myself reaching for them genuinelyโnot as homework, but as an actual reference when I'm between that moment of noticing something's off and figuring out how to respond differently. They've become part of my routine practice, not just a tool sitting unused.

Good introduction to DBT
The Sulieschen DBT Skills Coaching Cards with Guided Examples and Training Steps provide a helpful introduction to Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Nothing replaces treatment from a licensed professional, but if you can't get to therapy, are trying to figure out if therapy is the right next step, or are simply between sessions, the cards offer a reminder to take a pause and name what's happening. The cards arrived exactly as pictured in the product listing. The cards and the ring are of a sturdy quality and the cards are printed with pleasing colors. However, I might have appreciated a little more contrast between the type and the background, or perhaps it was the bold and often italicized font that made reading a little slower for me--and the difficulty was also exacerbated by the strange spacing issues after every apostrophe (and sometimes other punctuation), as mentioned by another reviewer. Sometimes I found the examples to be a little too surface-level, but again, the cards are really great as an introduction. We can all use reminders of ways to regulate our emotions and stay in the present. Given the inattention to detail with the typesetting issues, $15.99 (at time of review) feels a little high...but $15.99 is worth it if therapy isn't an immediate option.

Great tool
These DBT skill cards are a great tool to have on hand whether theyโre for someone who is doing DBT themselves or for the average person who could use some extra tools to regulate their emotions + reactions. I personally, am in therapy (not practicing DBT, but am interested in possibly trying it in the future), I have ADHD and sometimes struggle with processing emotions and rejection sensitivity so I found the tools/example scenarios to be very helpful in reframing things. I love that they come in little pocket sized cards they can easily be kept in a purse or pocket and them having a hole on the corner of the cards so they can be kept on the metal ring that came with them making them easy to organize + flip through. The cards themselves are good quality and feel durable/waterproof, etc. so they will hold up well over time. Theyโre clear and pretty easy to read. There are some weird formatting issues throughout the cards where thereโs a giant space between letters/punctuation so it looks kind of wonky but it doesnโt make it difficult to read or take away from the messaging. I think these are a great tool to have on hand for anyone and could be used for a variety of situations and are therefore a good value for the cost.

Cards to help someone practice DBT techniques
I am reviewing B0FZKDKPNP "DBT Skills Coaching Cards with Guided Examples & Training Steps-28PCS Flashcards for Emotional Regulation|Stress Relief & Coping Tools for Office Worker & Adults". These cards are divided into color coded themes of Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Each card has a hole in the corner and they come with a ring so you can clip them all together and easily flip to the theme and specific card you need. The front of the card gives a technique or concept, and the back explains when to use it, gives an example, and offers exercises or suggestions for how to apply it. If I am a professional or otherwise coaching someone in these techniques, this layout makes sense since I can easily find the card I need, and show the other person why this card will be helpful. If I am using these cards for myself, however, I would find it more convenient to have "When to use" on the front. If I am not familiar with all of the techniques, the layout requires me to flip every card to see if this is the one that applies to my situation. Not a big deal, but just a consideration -- these seem targeted to people who are already familiar with the techniques. Also, as the description notes, these are intended for adults. There is nothing inappropriate and they could be helpful for kids too, but the examples mostly deal with workplace scenarios. This might be petty, but some of the punctuation has huge spaces behind it, which I find distracting. Seems like they could fix that, especially since some of the cards are text-dense. Still recommended.

Great Quality product!
These DBT skills coaching cards are a practical and easy-to-use tool for emotional regulation and stress management. The 28 flashcards are a good size for handling and reading comfortably, and the guided examples and training steps make them very functional for quick reference. The print is clear, and the cards feel sturdy enough to hold up with regular use. The layout is straightforward and beginner-friendly without feeling overly simplified. For a compact coping tool set like this, the overall quality and usability make it a solid value for the money.

Content is good. Proofreader failed.
I found a lot of success with therapists who used CBT and DBT years ago when I was suffering from severe postpartum depression, so I was really interested to review these cards. I like that they are simple, quick reads for busy (or emotionally unwell, as I was back then) people. The teachings and exercises track with what I remember from therapy. The mindfulness exercises/questions are familiar ones, and could be valuable to anyone wanting to be more mindful or reduce their stress. However, the former writing tutor in me couldn't help but twitch at every card that had wonky spacing where an apostrophe should be. Those awkward spaces were so hard to ignore. You can tell the Chinese manufacturer of the cards copied text from somewhere and pasted it into this format and the formatting didn't translate. 10 minutes of proofreading/correcting would have made this therapeutic tool so much better.

Must have for mental health professionals!
I am a school social worker and these cards have been AWESOME! I am such a fan of DBT skills, and these cards give an easy quick way to introduce concepts to my students! I love that the cards have very clear instructions but are not too wordy, and they provide short clear ways to use the skill. The cards are split into the main DBT skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, and each category has its own color to ensure you can easily find skills in the category you want. I also love that the cards give very clear direct examples of how to use the skills included. The cards are sturdy, easy to flip through, and vividly printed. These have been an awesome way to quickly introduce skills without kids getting put off by a lot of words or an in depth practice, which, after the introduction of phones and devices into schools has been harder for me to keep kids attention on things, so these being short sweet and to the point is a blessing!

Great guide
These are a great resource to add to your toolbox. These cards are nice because they are super short and give you a quick hit of the information. I wouldn't hand these to children and expect them to navigate it independently. I would definitely use them and change the scenarios to be more appropriate for children.
