They are very small and cardboard. Do not buy if intended for a “tools“. The lining inside comes off easily and I don’t know what kind of tool you could put in there other than a screw drummer perhaps not even that. They may be good to hold documents or a pair of flip-flops or perhaps a couple of CDs or sunglasses which is what I’ve put in there. But certainly not tools as intended. So I guess they could be useful for something, but they shouldn’t say that they’re toolboxes. And there is no locking mechanism on there or ability to put one.

Awesome box

The product descriptions says this is an "aluminum" case, but it's not even aluminum-colored plastic. When I opened it one of the foam panels had come loose, exposing that this box is made of silver-painted *cardboard*. The handle, latch and corners may be aluminum, but nothing else about it is. This is useless as any kind of "tool box". If it had cost $8 I might have given it to my niece to keep her Barbie paraphernalia in. But for $35, it's an expensive, falsely-advertised rip-off. Going back today.

Okay first before I tear into this item let me say-it IS a nice case,well made and for certain uses it's fine. However... Listed as aluminum? Nope plastic and some kind of wood that I can see in gaps,feels a bit cheap too no way I'd pay $32 for it,$5 maybe $10 The padding is glued in which isn't a good sign, guess they're trying to give the thin wood and plastic a bit more reinforcement. No go,do not buy.
