Feels like I got the wrong desk. Going off of the pictures the size is no where near what I got. The desk is small, reminds of a school desk. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions but even for a writing desk I feel like it should be a bit bigger. Not sure what application I can use it in. It was easy to put together and it came with everything needed. It is sturdy and solid. I do feel that it is over priced for the size.

I needed a secondary computer station in the house and ordered this to fill the bill. The item specifics at that time said that it was 27 inches wide, but the images said 31 inches. So to settle that debate quickly, if you're conflicted, I got a 31 inch wide desk. (Your mileage may vary.) It was straightforward and easy to assemble, with an extra piece of each required hardware preset, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch. If you have a real phillips screwdriver, go ahead and grab it before you assemble - you'll be glad you did. But if you don't have any tools, this comes with a satisfactory "combination" allen wrench and screwdriver that will get you through the project. The spacer at the back provides a lot of stability, and I thought the cord pass-through was a really nice feature that I didn't necessarily expect in this price range. Do take note: This does not have a separate pull-out tray for the keyboard - it's a basic writing-style single-surface desk. But if you don't mind that, it's a fantastic budget friendly piece that will fit in a lot of smaller spaces.

This is a very good value, basic desk for writing or use with a laptop. The package provided all required parts including an Allen wrench/Phillips head screwdriver combo tool, plus a few spare items. Assembly took less than 20 minutes and could be completed by one person. As another reviewer suggested, assembly will be easier if you use your own Phillips head screwdriver. The desk looks nice, and the table surface has a smooth writing surface and includes a rubber gasket for a few cords or cables. The cross piece in the back of the desk does a decent job of keeping the desk stable; the desk will have a little wiggle if you lean on it heavily but this should not impact use for a laptop or tablet, and is minimal if you push the desk against a wall. The desk instructions recommend that heavy items like a printer should be centered on the desk, versus off to one side, to help ensure stability. Overall, this is a nice, inexpensive, minimalist desk that is perfect for a small space like a bedroom or dorm. My son is very happy to have this for his room.
