Purchased this 30awg copper magnet wire to help bridge some broken pads on proprietary usb-c port, this is the perfect size as it's almost exactly the same width as the pins. The red coating prevents conductivity as it should and is easily removed by scratching with a sharp blade or with 400c solder if your desire to remove and tin the wire at the same time. The wire in the coating appears quite strong and resistant to tearing, the plain wire inside after exposure is a bit weaker but not by much. The coating is a nice bright red which makes it easy to spot any shorts. Definitely making my must have list.
