Pulled out of the package and yes, this is a sign. It has two sides. One side says Stop. One side says Slow. So, the Cortina ABS Plastic Paddle Sign is exactly what it is described to be. The construction is solid. We don't have responsible adults using this sign at all times, so it gets tossed in a basket or on a counter on a regular basis. I am guessing it also gets dropped and possibly even used as a sword sometimes. It has handled the abuse well and looks great. The handle is solid and is attached to the sign by rivets. And when we hold it up, people stop (or slow down) like they should. If you are looking for a Stop / Slow sign, this is a great one.

Good, durable. Unfortunately I didn't pay close attention to the item description and read "27 inches" and assumed that was for the sign itself. The sign is actually 18x18 as the post says further down; the 27 is with the handle. So it might not be up to code depending on the regulations of the company you work for, but as far as being a non-reflective 18x18 stop slow sign? It does an excellent job a it.

I purchased 2 of them. They are perfect for what I need. I seen where some people complained about the paint not being perfect but mine arrived in great condition. Even if the paint wasn’t perfect for the price you can’t beat them.

Good price point. I am only giving it 4 stars because the sign has a couple of white spots from the printing process. An easy red permanent marker fix. The sign is also a little heavy however I don't mind because I will only be using it from 20-30 minutes daily at my daughter's elementary school. The quality of the material is good and the graphics are also nice and bright. It was packaged nicely and it arrived in excellent condition.

I purchased this item for my job and it works perfectly. At events that I work at, we have drive through gates where I have someone checking cars for credentials and the vehicles love to breeze right by my staff member. Now, if they see someone approaching a little too quickly, they can whip this sign out. It is just the right amount of weight and seems pretty sturdy. We've used it at 3 different events and all is well so far.

Lightweight but still strong

I bought this stop sign for the buss stop we seem to have adults and teens that somehow passed the drivers test without knowing the law of stopping at all times for the bus when red lights are flashing and stop signs out. Due to the amount of traffic that loves to go around the bus I bought this to warn people to stop while my children and others load and unload the bus this is perfect and big
