Can this be used on fabric

It says it can be used on fabric in the description.

I want to add glitter/shimmer to a costume wig (styled bun wig, not loose/flowing). Would this work or would it greatly alter the appearance?

I am not sure if it will damage your wig, but I can tell you it has not altered the fabric and fake fur I have sprayed.

How heavy is the glitter when sprayed? I don't want my painting smothered in glitter like glitter blast does.

It won't be a glitter blast. We used it to add a little sparkle to posters. It was a light dusting of glitter.
