so is this safe if my truck uses ATF on the steering system? im reading different answers anyone with actual experience?

I Have atf in my truck also, it didn't harm anything by putting it in, didn't fix the leak either.

Can this safely mix with power steering fluid ?

I e-mailed the Blue Devil Company and they said that Yes, it can be mixed with any type of power steering fluid. The good news: it's worked with great success in my wife's 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, the bad news: it may have exacerbated a leak I had on my 2004 VW Golf (though it was probably my fault because I mistakenly had the steering wheel cranked too far to one side for too long while running this leak seal in my system, and having your steering wheel kept fully to one side or another puts too much stress on a system, even a leak-free one). I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty which uses ATF +4 transmission fluid for the power steering system. Is this product compatible?

Sorry I don't know. All I know is it's not for Honda's. Made it even worse.

My vw vanagon takes atf dexron for the power steering fluid. will this product mix with atf and will it damage my atf compatible seals?

I think I should point out that even though your power steering use ATF. Your AT is not the same system as your power steering is. Many vehicles use ATF in place of a different fluid for power steering. That said I can not say definitively or not a "yes" or "no" to your question without referring you to the manufacturer (800)863-0426 (just called them myself for other questions).

I'm assuming they already have considered the composition of most AFTs when they put the product on the market, but regardless you should talk with them; they are easy to get a hold of.
