Good quality, great for cosplay!
I’ve gotten this twice now for cosplay helmets and it does the job perfectly. The tint is dark enough that nobody can see into the helmet but not too hard to see out of either. It is flexible, durable and looks great!

Great for cosplay visors
I assume most people, including me, do not use these welding visors for their intended purpose. They sure do work great for Mandalorian helmets though! One thing I always disliked about the majority of visors online is that they are dark green, while this one is black. You can't tell the difference when looking at them from outside the helmet, but when you're wearing it, the dark green ones turn your vision ENTIRELY green. These black ones are like wearing sunglasses. It's noticeably dark, but you can at least see colors.

Great for Mandalorian T-Visors and Cosplay Helmets
This is the perfect material to make the T-visor for your Mandalorian helmet out of. There is just enough material to let you size it, it is protected with a film on both sides so that when you are marking and cutting it you don't mar the lens, and it is easy to cut with shears, while being rigid enough to keep its shape when installed in the helmet. The darkness is just right, where you can see inside, but they can't see you when you are outside. Yeah. These are the ones. Frankly, if I wanted mirrored, I would probably buy the clear version, and just put mirrored window vinyl on them to get there. It is just the right kind of plastic for this kind of project.

Looks real good
Used it for a Helldivers II helmet and it worked phenomenally.

WARNING, PRODUCT COMES OUT OF BOX IN MISLEADING STATE
The product when first coming out of the box looks not nearly dark enough, dirty, scratched up, and horrible, however that’s only because of a layer of film on each side of the visor, the film on the front comes off easily but the back film doesn’t have any tab to remove it, to remove this I recommend getting some tape and sticking it down to then peeling it back up, strong enough tape will pull the film up too. Once removing both layers of film it might still appear to be not dark enough, don’t worry, as once it’s fully installed into your cosplay helmet it will be, and the only reason for its semi see through appearance is the amount of light in the room, once in your cosplay will become nearly impossible to see through because of the shadows cast by the helmet (assuming your making some kind of helmet with a visor), This product was great for its price, looks amazing, and has only 1 issue, that being the misleading film layer on the back that i didn’t know existed until i peeled some tape off it after cutting the visor down to size

Great Visor Option for Costuming
Like some other people here, I purchased this face shield not for the intended purpose, but rather for costuming. I had used a few other manufacturer's face shields/visors in the past, however this Hobart 770580 is by far my favorite, and I will continue to use them going forward unless something comes out that is more scratch resistant. Shipping was fast and each shield came with a removable film on each side to protect the actual plastic from becoming blemished. The tint color is a very dark 'smoke' as opposed to dark green that many other, similar shields tend to have. It's flexible and easy to insert into a helmet if costuming is your hobby/passion as well. It's also easy to trim with sharp scissors. Durability of the visor is still in question for me as it is not very scratch resistant -- though still slightly better than others I've used. A few minor scratches appeared after minimal handling. One important question many people have is, "Can you see through it?" If you are using it to wear, yes, it's like very dark sunglasses. As for it being see-through from the outside, no -- for the purpose I used it for, no one should be able to see your eyes or any of your facial features unless light comes through underneath the helmet. All in all, I'd recommend this visor for similar usage. My only ding for not giving it 5 stars is the visor's lack of being scratch resistant.

Great for cosplay
I can't speak to the actual functionality, but this worked better than anything else I've tried as a visor for a helmet I made. I was able to cut it with some crappy scissors, and easily adhere it into place. As a note for my fellow costumers: This didn't seem to heat form, which I guess I should've expected considering the visor's actual use. I wanted to heat it up with my heat gun and give it some curvature so it was pushing my helmet flat, but I wasn't able to. Otherwise, you can't beat the price! It's like looking through sunglasses, yet no one can see my face.

Cosplay
I used this for a homemade Helldiver helmet. It does bend but you need some high heat to made it bend. My battery dewalt heat gun didn't cut it. I had to used a plug in heatgun for construction to actually make it bend and mold to the shape I needed. But I can see through it just find and it worked out great.

Great for cosplay
Bought this to make a mandalorian cosplay helmet, it's perfect. Need strong shears to cut to shape, but was able to create fine curves without too much trouble. When mounted in thr helmet my nose touches, but even then it didn't fog up. Great visibility and looks completely dark from the outside. Sturdy, doesnt scratch easily and holds the required shape. Perfect for what I needed. Highly recommended for cosplayers and costumers who want something that will last multiple wears.

Amazing product, we’re just dumb :)
There’s a giant sticker in the middle of the visor, which seemed like a huge issue until we removed the plastic coating on the visor. Yeah that’s our bad, it works perfectly for our clone trooper cosplay

Good Quality
I purchased this to use for a visor on a 3D printed cosplay helmet (recommended by most who use for similar items) . While it suited my requirements, it is a little pricey for my needs. If you are using for similar use, be weary of holes at the top of visor and white writing.
