Wilson Tungsten Tuning Tape

Works great, I’ve had no issues with them falling off as others have. I’ve played with them for multiple sessions. I have not cut or moved them after installing. I like that there are markers to make measuring and cutting to desired weight easier and it gives me peace of mind to not have to worry about lead poisoning / safety and that I can work with them with bare hands. Recommend! I do wish they came in lighter colors for my racket but oh well :)

Perfect size for customizing your tennis racquet. The width measures 0.25 inches, compared to most of the 0.5 inches width tapes. The tape can be placed nicely inside the frame, and seems to be sticking well. It has been removed and repositioned a few times without causing any damage.

Seemed to work well initially, but one by one each piece eventually fell off after not too long. I’ll look for one with a better adhesive now.

RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Thoroughly clean area of application using isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry 1st. 2. Place on inside of hoop/frame as close to string grommets as possible without touching them. 3. Make sure that placements are mirrored on both sides of the stringbed; each tape strip should have a twin. (Most common weight tape placements on tennis racquet frames are 9AM and 3PM, 10AM and 2PM, and 12PM) 4. Massage tape into place and make sure there are no air bubbles underneath.

I like the black look and not having to worry about toxicity, but it is really think compared to lead tape. the adhesive is also abysmal. The adhesive came off when i tried to peel the paper backing of one of the strips that I got. After 2 hours of play, two of the strips fell off of my racket and disappeared, leaving the adhesive residue behind. Luckily, the adhesive was easy to remove from my frame. Overall a good idea for a product (aesthetic and nontoxic) but the execution is just very poor. Would not buy again, and will just stick with lead tape in the future

It's lead free so what's not to like? I like that each section is .25g. I've to use the entire package to get the weight I needed on my racquet.

The Wilson Tungsten Tape comes in four 5g strips. Used this to add weight to a second racquet - Head Extreme Pro and to add some heft to the hoop to get some much needed plow through on strokes. Have so far added 2 5g strips at the 10-2 position on the racquet and after 2 weeks of use they have yet to fall off. Just make sure you clean the spots on the racquet where the strips will go with rubbing alcohol before applying the strips. This should ensure they bond better to the racquet. Has it helped? Most certainly. Provides much better power on groundstrokes and has increased the sweet spot on the racquet just enough to provide a level of forgiveness on mistimed shots. Much better and safer than Lead tape in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Sticks well. No issues so far. Been using for 2 months.

Very easy to use due to pre portioned sections adhesive is very sticky
