Cape Craftsmen TV Tray Set with Stand

We are reluctant interent shoppers - especially with furniture-type items. Received these with a little damage to the boxing, but packed very well with no damage. When assembled, they were gorgeous, true-to-size and seem to be quite sturdy. Great value and definitely furniture-grade quality.

Received the box and, knowing that it needed to be put together, gathered my tools out of my toolkit and prepared to start work. What a surprise to find that the only tool I needed was an Allen wrench and it was included. The setup was easy and they look good by themselves and great with my glass of wine sitting on them. ;)

I've had these trays less than a month and already they are coming apart. 1. The top of the trays are one great big stick on that is not sealed on. After a few damp washings of the top the stickers are peeling off. The trays are used a few times a week for 6 year old. 2. One of the trays had a seriously warped leg on arrival. I did not notice until a couple of weeks ago as it is one that was used only once. It made the tray extremely wobbly. 3. I never put together the tray stand as I have space to stick trays in. 4. Because of the peel factor and how wobbly even the non warped ones are I would never recommend these or buy them again myself.

First shipment arrived defective (curved leg). Amazon shipped a replacement immediately. Came in perfect. They look beautiful, are sturdy and the rack is also sturdy and quite handy. There is a design flaw with the actual using them: if you try to lift the table out of the way, as you get up from the couch, and it has cups or anything on it....WATCH OUT... the bottom(the legs) is not locked in, so it moves back to its side, therefore, if you try to put the table down, so it will stand up (you won't have both legs, so it can't stand up anymore, and without you using two hands to put the legs back in proper place can' t be used. Extrmely inconvenient and dangerous if you don't know to expect it, so you end up having to take everything off the table, using two hands to put the legs back down etc etc . So I wish it had a locking device of some sort so it stays put.

I like the designs on top and the trays are sturdy. There really is no assembly except for the stand. I don’t use it. Unfortunately the design is a type of laminated paper and not embedded into the tray. It is washable but I think over time it would not hold up with frequent use. This aspect makes them seem cheap even though they are expensive for TV trays. I purchased acrylic place mats for the top. They cover 90% of the surface so work fine. However this added to my cost so not a fair value for what you get. I rated 3 stars as I like the design but I think they are overpriced for what you get.

Love the quality and ease of assembly. I have no complaints about this product. I would recommend this product to all who have good taste and like displaying beautiful home accessories in ypur home. Thank you for providing this beautiful product for me to use and display in my home.

I L❤VE MY PURCHASE. But, I'm concerned that the applicade is water proof, and will not peel from edges. I'm missing (1)screw "B" Tks, In Advance. BSmith

We bought these trays in August of 2012, in the beginning they were only aesthetically pleasing and somewhat sturdy, but we figured that if we tightened the bolts enough to make them flush with the wood, the shakiness would be lessened..but over the past few months, it has gotten worse and worse to the point where they are standing crooked, unshapely and are not sturdy. We were overall just disappointed with this product... PROS: Aesthetically pleasing, beautiful color, unique design CONS: Overpriced, cheaply made, unstable all around (trays and stand)

I absolutely love the TV Trays! They are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I am however very disappointed with the quality of the stand. Several of the screws are stripped out and will not catch into the wood. So in order to make it function for company over the holidays. I have had to use a super glue in the screw holes. Also the plugs that were supplied to cover the screw heads, do not fit. Way too small. I have had to glue them in place as well. I would have returned it. However like I said, I needed these trays for company over Thanksgiving. It's almost like the trays and the stand came from two different suppliers.

Good quality for the price easy to set up!

Loved the trays. Our second set. But we had to unscrew 3 of 4 trays and re-attach to legs because they were attached upside down! When in the closed position and resting on stand they would have appeared upside down. Careless assembly?? But the rest of the craftsmanship is very nice. Would recommend as a lovely gift, especially for anyone with an interest in Italian wines.

The trays are really nice, sturdy and look good. The stand on the other hand is cheaply made; mine had warped wood and is so far from being square I can’t get the trays on it because one side is too wide, as you can see in the photo how twisted it is. Disappointing.

VERY pleased with these trays - they arrived very well packaged and are good quality- I was a bit nervous about that but these trays are well made. I haven't put the stand together yet - but the trays themselves are well worth the price !
