A fantastic tablet especially at this price point. Linux support out of the box too!
A fantastic tablet, especially in its budget range! It's easy to see how so many people agree this is the tablet to beat for the price you pay! It was extremely easy to set up, requiring next to no setup at all on Linux to get started. I find this tablet very comfortable to use. The size is also ideal for how I typically draw, allowing full range of motion that I need. I am confident as I continue to familiarize myself with the controls and features of this tablet, I will only grow more impressed! I especially appreciate the care given to the Linux creative community and cannot recommend this enough!

Fantastic for the price, perfect on Linux!
For the price, this is a fantastic entry-level tablet. I've tried it on both Mac and Linux and I can confirm that the Linux support is excellent, with drivers available for every major distro family. Bravo to XPPen for treating Linux like the first-class citizen it is! I've tried it on both Fedora and Arch and it works great. It even has a handy GUI configuration tool that works quite well for various settings, including the shortcut buttons. I've tested in a variety of software including Blender, Krita, Affinity, and Nomad and it works well in all of them. It's very slim and sturdy and I'd be very comfortable tossing this in a backpack with a laptop. If I have one complaint, it's that the tip has a lot of "wiggle" and feels quite squishy. It's been years since I last used a tablet, but I prefer a more stiff, reliable tip, like a pen or pencil. Given how much cheaper this is versus a Wacom, I can live with that! If you need a starter tablet for drawing, drafting, or sculpting this is a good choice.

Affordable, durable, great usability
I bought a used $40 XP pen tablet and it's been very good so far. I don't use it all the time, but when I do, it works pretty good. One star missing because I've experience a lot of connection issues (with the wire). Can't tell if it's the wire, or driver or tablet, but it randomly disconnects about 1/6 of the time that I use it. Otherwise, durable nibs on pen, wire can be messy, pressure sensitivity is great, option of left handers (turns upside down so buttons aren't in way), hot keys on pen and tablet (don't use very often bc my nondom hand is on keyboard, very lightweight, nice pen holder, easy- user friendly interface program. If you're serious about long-term drawing, would suggest investing in a better tablet (I'm also looking for a new one). If you're new and want to experiment with digital drawing and you're on a budget, perfect choice. If you're intermediate, still probably invest in a wacom tablet instead. But still, I'm happy with my purchase.

Excellent Drawing Tablet
I've been wanting a drawing tablet for years, but never got around to buy one which was a huge mistake. I absolutely love this tablet. The pressure pen worked straight out of the box on Krita, Paint.net, and Gimp. I remapped all 10 buttons to what I wanted in Krita. Not sure if those will work on the other 2 programs as I haven't tested them. The pen is very smooth and feels good in my hand. It responds to pressure very well. I have zero complaints with this tablet. I'm running it on Windows 11. I've not tried it yet with Linux or Android, but one day I will.

Great
A great tablet. Had to replace my Wacom One as the screen wasn't responding properly to pressure. This is a comfortable, less expensive alternative. Plus I missed drawing on a tablet and seeing the result on my monitor - I found myself slouching a lot with a screen tablet. Very easy to setup this tablet and use the software for it

Fantastic for Virtual Teaching
I was completely ignorant when I bought this product back in July after our district announced we would continue virtual teaching in August. I can operate the tech my elementary school provides, but I don't have a great background in new things. I knew I'd probably need to write while teaching so I bought this pen. Here's what I learned that could be helpful to other teachers like me who need this product: First, you need to be utilizing software that normally allows you to write. I didn't understand this so I almost packaged this item up & returned it. I held onto it for several days while I tried to research & play around with it. I couldn't seem to make it work. I was completely ignorant in this idea. Thank goodness I did not return it! So, Google Slides is a no-go as far as writing. I believe one of the reviews here at Amazon mention you can use it with Slides. Well, you don't normally write on slides so you can't write with this pen either. You must have software which includes a writing pen. My most used pieces of software which don't require me to pay anything are: Google Jamboard & Promethean Board software (ActivInspire is a FREE download for the basics). The ActivInspire software allows me to upload an entire pdf or pick certain pages of a pdf for the curriculum my school has already purchased. Then I can write & highlight directly on the pdfs using the XP Pen. I can present these things during my Zoom or Google Meet so my kids can see me writing using the XP Pen. Whiteboardfi is a free website which allows you to write as well. Then you can push the board out to the students repeatedly with new math problems, etc on it, over & over in seconds. Hint...if your kids don't have access to fancy tech, keep whatever you give the kids HUGE so they can easily manipulate the touchpad on their end to write on your math problems. My third graders have become pros at using their touchpad, as long as I keep my writing LARGE. I can write neatly & push things out repeatedly. I can also demonstrate easily with this XP Pen. Finally, I've seen some reviews of other teachers having a hard time writing with the XP Pen because you can't see as you write, as you can only see on your screen so it's a bit strange at first. After a number of sessions using the XP Pen, I quickly learned to write pretty well for what I need. I mainly use it to highlight text during reading instruction or to write/ draw math problems. I have decided to use the typing tool on my software when I need to write sentences onto small lines on an uploaded pdf. It's just easier for the kids to read it on their end. This was a fantastic purchase at a good price. I know there is a competing "name brand" for a lot more money, but as an elementary school teacher forced to teach virtually, this tool is perfect for my needs. I use it every single day to teach math and reading. I can't imagine not having it. After 3 months of use, I've had zero problems with it.

Beginner to graphic design - it checked all my boxes!!
This was my first time buying a graphics tablet as someone who recently got into graphic design. I've been into photography for a while and am very familiar with photoshop, so I was looking for something that would pair nicely with the software and be easy to use for beginners. Without being educated on anything graphic design related, I did extensive research into what to look for in a graphics tablet. I wanted to buy something rather cheap, but of good quality (which can be hard to come by these days). I considered getting a Wacom since that's what a lot of websites suggested, but the sizes and reliability didn't really do it for me. Then I came upon this beauty and it checked all my boxes. I've had the tablet for at least a month now and have had no issues whatsoever. No lag between the pen and the computer, no problems with the shortcut keys. That being said, I can't speak about their customer service quality since I've never had to use it. I like the large drawing space provided which gives plenty of room to move about and position my hand. That does however make it less portable, but I personally wasn't looking for something travel-sized. It's very easy to set up and the software for the tablet, shortcut keys, and pen buttons is pretty easy to use and allows for a lot of customizability. I don't really use the shortcut keys that often (mostly because the work I do makes it easier to keep a hand on the keyboard of my laptop) but the placement of them on the tablet is fine. The ones on the pen aren't particularly convenient, but I don't really use them anyways. The accessories provided are great as well. The pen stand holds the pen upright perfectly and holds the extra nibs in the base. My nib, after a month of use, is beginning to wear down, but I haven't change it yet. There are about ten extra nibs provided and it's extremely easy to switch them out. I wasn't anticipating using the graphics glove, but I'm really glad they included one because it makes sliding my hand around on the tablet way easier than when I'm not wearing it. I didn't put the protective plastic on the tablet (mostly so that I wouldn't get air bubbles and as to not take away from its sleek appearance), but any scratches from the pen nib are basically undetectable and don't seem to be damaging the tablet at all. Also included are two... USB connecter ports? That's not the technical term for them. The tablet, as far as I know, does have Bluetooth but I don't trust it so I've connected it to my laptop via the USB cord. The connectors allow for the tablet to be plugged in via Thunderbolt or Android and both work just fine. (I don't own an Android phone so I can't speak about its compatibility with that) All around a great tablet and for a decent price. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The pen acts as a replacement for a mouse and is 100% compatible with photoshop. Have had no issues at all, great for beginners, love it so much!

Linux user, this tablet works but not fully
Linux and long-time tablet user here to give others some details before they purchase. I've had this tablet for a month now and have used it basically all-day, every day. PROS: * Very good looking tablet * Very slim * Excellent dimensions for the active area size * Brilliant sideways micro-usb that could be replaced if needed * The price * Packaging was very nice * LEDs light up to show the active area CONS: * Driver support is not quite there. Don't let the Answers section fool you * Buttons on the stylus don't work and cannot be programmed (though bottom thumb button seems to function as Click) * Buttons on the pad do work, but you cannot assign them at will. You have to experiment to see what they do * Manufacturer states that Linux not supported by default, but a beta version is available * Occasional ~1s delay when returning the stylus to proximity of the pad * Pad scratches rather easily. This isn't a big problem but in one month this one has more scratches than my old tablet did in 8 years (Wacom Intuos3). See photo. Remember this is all day, every day use. The nib seems to wear faster as well. * Pen stand is just not great. I hate to nitpick but my old Wacom pen had a nice firm weighted stand and the pen fit in perfectly. This one is too shallow and it swivels around in a wobbly fashion. See photo. NOTES: * Pad is mapped to entire screen. This I actually prefer, so I don't mind, but if you prefer it the other way there is currently no way to set it. * Manufacturer was kind and prompt in responding to support request. The answer is still "we'll get to Linux when we get to it, if at all" -- and that's not a big shocker. * Several driver updates have been put out but on my OS (Ubuntu 18.04) they affect no change. I can choose some settings but they don't work. * I have not been able to get the pen to draw with size variation, though other pressure sensitive settings do work (though nothing I'd use). This might not be the tablet's fault - I can't be sure. Ultimately if you are looking for a tablet to work with Linux I'd have to give this one 3/5. If you want to draw with the tablet, look elsewhere for full compatibility (the eraser does not work on this for example). I like the look of this one SO much and the price point is just fantastic, but if I could have tried it before purchase I probably would not have bought. It's annoying to right click with two hands, for one. I'll stick with this one for now though, because it's a tool I use so heavily I'd rather just not be without one.

LIKED THE QUALITY, SIZE & PRICING
Actually, its better than i expected. I used to use wacom pen&tablets but after using XPPen i feel like this product is underrated. SURFACE & PEN both are with soft/smooth touch. Size of tablet is bigger than i expected. They providing Quality product in this price, which is awesome.

Love it
I love it. I'm using Deco V2. It's pretty big and quality is very nice. The pen feels premium and pressure sensitivity is excellent and works pretty well. Installation is easy, just install the drivers from the official Xp-pen site and then everytime you connect the tab, it'll start working right away. I have used it on windows and Android as well and it's compatible with both. There is no need of battery in pen as it works of battery free EMR wacom technology. Also, there is no lag. If your stroke is lagging, check your brush smoothing and set it to zero to get a lag free experience.

AWESOME first graphics tablet!!
This is definitely a life saver for my posture as an artist (by using a secondary monitor) and works amazingly well in terms of reactivity and tracking and was absolutely worth the money. This is my first graphics tablet and I do not regret buying this product at all— it only took me a little while for my hand-eye coordination to use this tablet to its fullest. Not to mention, I love buttons and custom keybinds, omg??? The pen holder is okay, but the stylus doesn’t seamlessly slide inside and wobbles a bit, which isn’t too much of an issue since I don’t plan on taking my big laptop or this graphics tablet outside regularly on the long run. Either way, 10/10, would buy from XPPen again!!
