Good Sturdy Product, Ropes and Pipe caps need improvement
Edit: Purchased in August 2019, Still going strong in August 2022. Planning to Purchase another for second balcony. The product is good for the price. you can get local brand products at the same price in local hardware stores. Ordered this because I saw this at My friends House. The Pipes are strong and thick for the length. Most of the people who complained about the pipes not strong, have ordered 8 feet pipes. so avoid long length pipes if you can. The ceiling bracket (Hoister) is complete metal and very strong. The pulley are just plasctic rollers but have strong middle pivot (strong steel nail) to hold the pulleys. The screws provided are sufficient length and provide good installation grip to the ceiling. Use 6mm Drill bit to drill holes in ceiling (this is also mentioned in the installation paper that comes with the Product). The ropes could be of good quality. Ropes look thin but can hold much larger weight. Before installation, pls check the pulleys and remove any protruding plastic edges from the pulley plastic material with help of a screwdriver. These edges later scrape with the rope threads, so this will improve the smooth functioning and avoid damage to the ropes during regular usage. The mechanism to fit the ropes to pipes can be improved and they Should provide holes on the steel pipes that would avoid need of the pipe caps and would incrase the life of the assembly, as I have read in some reviews that pipe caps were cracked after some time. Overall good and strong assembly, ropes and pipe caps can be improved/avoided.
