You could flip them over and use vinyl stickers to whatever numbers you need.

Would this work from jumping from dot to dot quickly on carpet or would they slip?

I use these on carpet for training my small dog. They do not move on my carpet.

do these have an edge to them for someome to possibly trip?

We gave these as a gift, and as I recall they were quite thin and flexible. I don’t recall them having an edge that someone would trip on.
