Very easy to install in my 2022 Outback
It's an air filter and as I've had no engine problems I can only assume it's doing what it needs to do. Subaru has made it extremely easy to replace these filters and I do so about once a year. It takes about 5 minutes to do a full replacement if you include everything from opening the package to opening the hood of the car, etc. The old filters hold up well and show no signs of breaking down when I remove them. I'll keep buying these as long as they're made!
