Gray Malin: Italy

Got as a gift for my father in law from Italy and he loved it. Not sure he knew who Gray Malin was before, but he loved the photos and spent a long time going through the book. And it looks beautiful on the coffee table.

A book full of beautiful pictures of Italy.

This is a wonderful book. It’s photgraphs capture the essence of the most beautiful places in Italy . Malin like myself seems obsessed with the beauty of the Mediterranean and the colorful Italian culture that surrounds it. Open the book and you are instantly on the coasts of Italy. The blueness of the water has a magical quality rarely captured on film(in deed not since images of beautiful Grace Kelly in the waters of the French Riviera in Hitchcocks’s TO CATCH A THIEF, has anyone until Malin gotten it right.) Malin’s work is pure sensual beauty . Looking at his work is the next best thing to being there. One can almost feel the gentle sea breezes and taste the limoncello. Bravo! Please keep it coming .

Beautiful coffee table book. Like some other reviewers said, I wish it wasn’t so many pics of umbrellas. His shots of the beaches and homes on the coast are more beautiful in my opinion. But it’s still a pretty coffee table book. I wish it were longer. FYI it was not protected before shipping. It was just thrown in a shipping box and the front cover has a gouge on it.
