I’m sure they have a purposeful use to them, but to a miniaturist like myself-they open up a world of possibilities! Excellent range of sizes,& quite durable!

These are exactly what they say they are. They are zinc plated copper. I do electronics repair for a living. If you use these, you have to use them correctly. If you don't have the tools or knowledge, don't try to repair a board with them. You will make matters worse for the real repair technician. There is a special rivet setting tool. If you don't have it, don't try to use these until you do have it, even then, I consider repair eyelets to be a last resort.

These did work for my particular circuit board repair. However was expecting these to be soft copper and they appear to be brass. Not appropriate for pcb repair in my opinion.

I was curious after another 1/5 star reviewer said 'steel in diguise' through Amazon's butchered translations. So I sanded through the flange and face to see if it was a plated item. Despite the horrible description by the seller stating copper plated zinc, zinc plating and material copper,...etc - I can confirm these are Brass with no plating. I'm assuming through the power of AI and translations, they bungled the description as most brass is a coppe- zinc alloy when straw yellow. That's why his hands hurt a little while squeezing these down, but at least they will offer better wear characteristics and strength than an actual copper rivet. 1 star off for the bad description, but otherwise these will suit my need.
