It’s their signature sea buckthorn berry scent—warm, spicy, and slightly floral. It’s one of the few hair products I get complimented on regularly. Frizz Control: I live in a high-humidity area, and this cream is a lifesaver. It seals the cuticle perfectly. I apply it to soaking wet hair using the "praying hands" method, and it keeps my ringlets intact even after diffusing. Clean Ingredients: As someone conscious of hair health, I love that it’s sulfate-free, paraben-free, and vegan. It feels like a treatment and a styler in one. Pros: No "Crunch" Factor: There is zero "cast" or stiffness. You don't have to "scrunch out the crunch" because the curls stay soft from the start. A Little Goes a Long Way: The 200ml tube lasts a surprisingly long time. For shoulder-length hair, a nickel-sized amount is usually enough. However, given the results and how little you need to use, the value is there. Not for Fine/Straight Hair: This is specifically for curls and waves. This stuff is AMAZING!!! It keeps my curls soft and feeling like a million bucks!!! It’s not sticky and I love that my curls don’t get stiff, like what gel or leave in products do. The smell might be my favorite part of my morning!!!! If you want soft natural looking curls this is my highly recommended product. My hair is naturally curly but if I don’t put anything in my hair it just goes frizzy and looks like crap. This stuff will not let you down!!!!

I have curly, wavy hair. However, it’s only been over the last few years that I’ve gone with it (at least since I was a toddler!) I had ReCurl recommended by a stylist; it was so heavy that it actually straightened my curls. For the last several months I’ve put nothing on my hair. The curls were there but they went where they wanted, mostly in my face. I researched a better solution & repeatedly found this one at the top of folks’ lists. Today I trimmed & shaped my hair (after getting excellent, precise advice from Claude AI on how to cut it…just sayin’). It was the first time I used the product. It is amazing! It is very lightweight but does what it advertises: Great curls with great styling ability. Plus, the scent is terrific—light but discernible. When I sit on my screened porch, the ceiling fan wafts it all around me. I love this stuff, & will definitely buy it again.

I love Amika products and I used almost exclusively Amika for straightening my hair. I am a 2B/2C wavy and I began transitioning to my natural hair and was so happy when I saw Amika had curly products. I can usually justify the price of these products because they're great, especially the dry shampoo. However, I just can't say the same about this. The best part is that you need a super tiny amount so it will last a long time. If you use a TAD bit too much your hair will look like you dipped it in the Gulf of Mexico back in 2010. It makes the curls super soft and bouncy but it weighs down your hair faster. Personally I like the look of elongated curls since I want my hair to look longer so I don't really mind having it weighed down on day 2. I use this in combo with the gel and it makes refreshing day 2 curls super easy. However, I can't give this 5 stars because I get better results with drugstore products like Shea Moisture. It's not bad, it's just not great and doesn't compete with drugstore alternatives that are half the cost.

Best hair cream around for frizzy curly hair people. The first picture is 24 hours after using the cream and mg hair is still looking pretty decent and the second photo is my hair without anything in it.

I tried this, wanting to give my naturally wavy/curly a break from the hair dryer. I use the smoothing balm when I blow dry/straighten my hair and it works wonderfully.... To start off, it was much thicker than the smoothing balm. It has a very pleasant scent. I rubbed a quarter sized blob between my palms and worked it through my damp hard before "crunching", my waves. It did define my natural hair, but it also made my hair feel heavy, flat at the crown, and built-up. I have fairly long hair, but this product did not feel great. Perhaps it is better suited for thicker hair. The smoothing balm is wonderful though.

I love this product. I have wavy to curlyish hair and I’ve always had issues finding a good product to ease the frizz in my hair and hold the waves. This is my second bottle and I love it. I highly recommend it. I have thick hair and I only use a quarter size of it. I do find it a bit expensive. My first bottle did last awhile because I wasn’t using it daily but still Pricey. I highly recommend this! The scent is so nice too.!
