Great phone for the price, slow at times, good for kids, and grandparents.
I bought this phone with low expectations, but it was actually a really solid phone. Comparing it to a more expensive phone wouldn't do this phone justice for what is for. I bought this for my grandma she loves it, the camera is a little slow, but once it boots up it takes decent pictures, the screen is nice and big and makes phone calls well. it has almost every feature newer phones have and has the latest updates so it still receiving some support. Go ahead and get this phone if you just need a phone to make phone calls and texts and some occasional pictures great buy!

great for the price
its obviously that is not the best cellphone, can't compare to an iPhone or samsung S series but if you know that is a cellphone of 70 bucks you will accept that is an excellent one for that price. i have buyed for my dad and he love the phone

Good temporary phone, bad for long-term use
This phone worked well enough the past year since I originally bought it, but about a month ago it began to rapidly decrease in quality. The battery life is now less than 10 minutes, and I have to keep it plugged in almost constantly. On top of this any and all navigation on the phone is slow and even simple apps crash often. The fingerprint reader is the one thing that's been relatively consistent in that it rarely works. The camera is absolute garbage, and honestly, though I would recommend this phone if you're in a pinch, I wouldn't use it any longer than necessary, and to get a better replacement phone as soon as possible.

Decent backup/burner/travel phone
Bought to use while travelling overseas so I didn't have to worry about anything happening to my better everyday phone. Not the fastest, highest performance phone but at that price I wasn't expecting it to be. Worked well with Google Maps even in rural areas (pro-tip: download regional maps on wifi ahead of time) and takes decent photos, definitely use "lite" versions of apps when possible. Fingerprint scanner isn't reliable...I'd add a fingerprint, it would work a few times and then I'd have to add it again, usually had to unlock with the pattern, not a huge deal but mildly annoying. The free screen protector and case are a nice touch since I was looking for something cheap. I personally wouldn't use as my everyday device but it's as a great backup/travel phone or could be good for a kid.

Bad quality
We purchased 2 phones for my parents. After a couple of months the phones stop working properly. The rings don’t go through, don’t show missed calls, the messages and pictures sometimes don’t even show or show hours later after I send to them. I have no way to get a hold of my parents because their phones don’t work. We’ve tried to troubleshoot every time my parents come to visit but nothing changes. Batteries always have to be charged, they barely hold charge for a couple of hours. There’s a definite manufacturer defect! This is very frustrating because my parents are older people and they just want to be able to call and receive calls. And now in these trying times I want to be able to be in contact with my parents at all times to make sure they’re well and healthy and when I call and they don’t answer I worry so much! That’s why I finally decided to write a review about these phones in hopes that this can be resolved in some way. I appreciate your attention in this matter. Irina D.

Works good.
A good device for the money. Big colorful screen and fingerprint reader. GPS works great. A bit slow sometimes if you have open more that three applications but this is normal with only 1 GB ram. Signal is good with T-Mobile and AT&T. The battery is ok a full day if you use the phone as normal with no crazy games and stuff. Recommended only for phone, Music and GPS use not for games. Camera is great to my surprise! It worked fine with my 256GB extra storage memory.

Value Android phone
A great value Android phone with the go version of the OS. It can run regular apps too. The screen and camera are great. I don't use the fingerprint reader. Update Oct 2019: Still a good phone and I use it daily. Youtube, Gmail, Google products all work well. It runs Angry birds 2 and ESPN fantasy. Yes it can be a bit slower than some phones--the Amazon app takes a while. McDonalds and Wendy's run normally. The cell signal can be glitchy--maybe the antenna is not the best? I run it on Tmobile.

Great display, horrible everything else
So, I'll start out the review with the only positive this phone has, the screen. I'm not sure why, but the screen on this device is really good for my standards, at least for a $70 phone. When I turn up the brightness the screen feels incredibly sharp and vibrant. Now, onto the bad parts of this phone. Everything else on this phone is terrible, and I'm not exactly sure why. We'll start with the most glaring of issues, the speed of the phone itself. I've never had a phone act slower than this one, straight out of the box and this device is UNBELIEVABLY SLOW. I cannot turn on YouTube and watch a video on it because whatever video I play will lag and drop frames. It isn't exclusive to YouTube either. Snapchat and a messaging app I use called Telegram basically cannot play any videos whatsoever without the phone stuttering and lagging. I can't even RECORD videos on the phone because the device fails to. When I start recording the phone starts dropping frames and stuttering, the final straw, and what made me write this review, happened when I tried to send someone a message, typed it out on the keyboard, and it took the phone a minute and a half to finish writing said message. It was 40 letters long. The performance on this phone is absolutely terrible. The battery life is also not great either. I use it pretty lightly throughout the day and it'll last be until I get home. But if I NEED to call anyone for any extended period of time, or use my GPS I can almost promise it'll die within an hour or two. I also had defects on the phone as soon as I got it, but was willing to deal with them because I could acknowledge that it was kind of an inexpensive phone. But there's an issue when your headphone jack basically freaks out and only works with one channel of the head phone unless you put the plug in at EXACTLY the right way. This lead to some embarrassing moments in my college class where I was trying to listen to some music and the phone decided to route the audio to the phone speaker and play it for the entire class. Honestly, I'm REALLY disappointed by this. Blu is the brand that got me into lesser-known flagship killer-esc phones. As soon as I broke my first Blue R1 HD I bought two more from Blu because it was such a solid phone. But now they're charging MORE for this device which is an inferior product all together, and lacks some of the horribly glaring issues that the Studio Mega has. Blu has literally worked backwards. I've owned the phone since the end of Feburary and I'm already thinking about buying another phone (Probably a Xiaomi or a Huawei) because I just don't want to deal with the technical errors, horrible battery life, and absolutely TERRIBLE performance of this phone. Honestly, at $70, I feel almost ripped off. And chances are I'll never buy another Blu ever again.

Barato y util
Es un telefono de gama baja, por lo que funciona bien con pocas aplicaciones. La camara es de calidad baja.
