Is it work for medium skin tone?

I think it will. I have a lighter shade of dark skin and it works amazingly. I do not think you will have a problem. I absolutely love this product, a must have in my makeup routine.

how do you put this on? does it have to be wet?

I don't believe so, it is just a very light shimmer on the skin and depending on the shade of highlighter, may be difficult to see? Hope that helps!
