Exceptional deal, a few concerns if you're picky
I was looking for a case for my Toshiba Thrive (R), and was delighted to find one with a keyboard that was so affordable. I've been using it for about a year now and it works great. All I had to do was plug in the USB and turn on the tablet; no drivers or any other installation required. It is SO nice to have arrow keys, home, end, del, esc, and F keys! It fits perfectly, looks pretty good and offers just the right amount of protection - hard with a bit of soft padding around it.That said, it isn't perfect. Here are the concerns I've found:1. The keys need pressure right in the center to work, so I have a little trouble with the keys I press with my pinky. The small size of the ,./ keys add to the difficulty. But I can still type a lot faster than I could on the screen.2. The right-hand tab overlaps (by a few milimeters) the flap that covers my USB and HDMI ports. Thus, I have to slide my Thrive up about 1/2 cm to plug the keyboard in, but then I can slide the tablet back into place. I don't find it any trouble, but picky customers may dislike that aspect.3. Once in a while (maybe one in 30 times, usually if I've had my tablet on a long time), the keyboard will stop working. Sometimes just unplugging and replugging it works; otherwise, I have to power off the tablet and turn it on again.4. The stand and the flap that holds the case closed are held magnetically. Magnets I hear are bad for computers, so I wonder if this would shorten a tablet's life?My overall review is I am extremely pleased with this case/keyboard. It satisfies my needs well, and the concerns are minor for the excellent price.

LOVE IT
I like this lil El Cheapo to be honest... WATCH THE CORD FOR USB! The usb cord is El Cheapero and a little wimpy but nothing to complain over, just don't try to yank it out from the cord itself, its already hung on by a needle and thread. Although I havent used this on my android tablet that's still stuck in China! I have used this on my laptop and on an embedded systems computer/MicroComp or whatever you want to call it.Works like a charm. Those who are complaining about the keys have to just deal with it, you think every keyboard is made for yur fingers only? They are smaller but like a nano inch smaller than a laptop keyNo 10 Key padHome | End | Page Up | Page Down are all spread out everywhere but there is an "fn" key to use3 Little LED lights for your caps and num lock and whatever the 3 one is that I never really used to ever see onLittle plastic chopstick stylus pen that I have a clue what it would work for because I sure know not on a pad, Maybe those with LCD screens it will because it works on my Monoprice 15 TOuch Moniter as well as a regular pen or anything else. It's a good product, if you want to spend a bit more, then go ahead but if you are looking for something cheapo and simply to cover your 10" pad, this is the way to go with the bonus of a keyboard, chopstick and a thread for a usb cable.. You cant beat it

Not bad for the price.
I purchased this case for my Viewsonic G-tab, and it does everything I expected it to do. Their are only two things that don't function as well as I would like. First of all, I believe it would have been a better idea to use the data port at the bottom of the G-tab to connect the keyboard. This connection could have been placed right in the middle of the spine, and put on a hinge to keep it connected constantly. The usb connector is a great idea, but seeing as how the G-tab only has one usb port, it limits what else you could do if you are using the keyboard.Secondly, the tabs that are installed on the interior of the upper part of the case seem flimsy and loose. After I installed it, the first time it was picked up the wrong way, it fell right out of the case as if it was not secured whatsoever. I had to bend the tabs in to get a more secure fit. If they could have put a band of elastic at the top right and left corners, or perhaps made the tabs a little more flexible, then this might not have happened. All in all, this is a great product. It delivers exactly what it promises. Just a warning to anyone purchasing it for a Viewsonic G-tab: make sure your SECURE THE TABS to the tablet once you install it. I am very satisfied. Thank you.

Stop whining!
I've had this for about six months. For less than $30 it's darned good. Yes, you have to squeeze the tabs in to get a snugger fit, but it's easy to do. And, NO, it does not block the port. What's up with those comments?Keyboard works just fine. The only gripe I have is the right shift key is too small and I sometimes hit the up-arrow key. Annoying, but I'm getting used to it. Lights work fine. I think this is an Android issue, but the delete key doesn't work in most cases. My G-Tab is rooted and running 2.3, so the keyboard - and now the G-Tab itself - is getting a real workout. Tap-n-tap? What kind of junk was that?!The overall quality is fine - again for the price! Please. Anyway, the core they use inside the leather could be a bit stiffer, and the "hinge" area could be a little stouter, but it all works. The stitching is holding up well, and still looks good. The stylus sucks. I don't even know where it is now. I bought a Kensington with a little rubber tip that works great. The kickstand is holding really well; unexpected. Still gets great comments every time someone sees it. Worth it. Buy it.
