Will this properly clone a windows 10 operating system??

Yes it does. it has several settings for copy including "System and Files" "All Partitions" and "whole HDD" . But we have successfully used it on windows 10 systems.

will this work with 18 TB drives?

What are the back up formats that this device can image (e.g. e01, ex01, dwg, raw)?

The SATDUP11IMG can create an image from any file type, however, it uses a proprietary file system when creating an image drive, that can only be accessed via the SATDUP11IMG. I confirmed this with StarTech.com in the past. File systems only play a role, according to the manual, when you are copying "System and Files". can this work as 1:1 target also? Without using the image option.

Yes, it can act as a 1 to 1 duplicator, just to copy drive 1 directly onto drive 2, preferably the exact same size drive.
