GOOD QUALITY, CLEAR, EASY TO FIT TO POOL
We ordered the clear so we could see what was going on in the water below. It was easy to cut it to size; I layed it on across the peanut-shaped pool, marked the edges of the pool with a blue non-toxic felt-tip marker, then cut with scissors. Had to trim up a few places that were not laying flat on the water, but it was very easy to shape it to the pool. Our only problem was that when removing it, it gets dirty water on top and is very heavy. So this spring we decided to cut it in half to make it easier to handle. It works well and husband and I can each take a side and walk it to the end. You get some leaves falling through where we cut it but they are easy to scoop out. It does a good job of warming the pool but we have trees so lots of leaves landed on top and made a mess during the fall. Our pool man said it would not help in the winter and would not let the skimmer do it's job of sucking in the leaves, so we removed it to make it easier to clean the pool. When spring arrived we put it back on and it brought our pool up to 85 degrees in a few days of warm 90 degree weather. The air temps cooled back down to normal but the pool remained fairly warm, around 78 degrees but too cold to swim for me. We are happy with it and it seems quite heavy duty compared to the blue covers we saw at the pool stores for quite a bit more money. To store it, we fold it in 2 halves and place in the center of a large brown tarp, cover it with the tarp and weight it down to keep it out of the sun. We expect it will last a few seasons in the AZ heat if we keep it covered , but you never know.

Not as pretty as the blue color but heats better!
Let me start off by saying I wasn’t expecting much for this cover since we had purchased a blue cover at a yard sale however my wife insisted. I was wrong. When we got the cover it was lighter than expected however much stronger than the previous cover. We read somewhere the clear cover allowed more sun through to heat the water so we decided on clear. The cover was easy to roll out and so easy to cut to our oddly shaped pool size, a pair of good scissors worked fine. Very rugged material that would not tear but easy to cut. Once we got the cover in place the temperature during the day was in the mid 90’s and sunny and dropped to the upper 50’s at night. In two days the pool temp stayed in the upper 80’s and didn’t fall like it normally would to the mid to low 60’s to match close to the night temperatures. We got at least another month out of enjoying the pool. Hope it helps to reduce evaporation also. We had a lot of rain, for Arizona, 5 inches within a week and I was worried the cover might sink however it shed the water over to the edges and back into the pool without a problem. Was not affected by wind either. Two bad thins, the pool service requires us to remove the cover befor they will service the pool so we remove it on the day they come and put it back later. The other thing is one of our dogs tried to walk on it and it held long enough for us to get him. The dog had never went near the pool before so please be careful. Excellent product and would recommend it highly.

Not a bad product for the price
I did a lot of research on solar covers before finally choosing this one. I’ve always had the thick blue ones from Leslie’s pool supply store, but that’s because the water district used to offer a discount coupon every couple of years when it was time to get a new one, which made the expensive cover not as painful to purchase. Well, they have stopped offering the coupon so I decided to look elsewhere to see if I could find something comparable yet less expensive. After reading the mixed reviews, I finally settled on this one. It’s not as thick and durable as the blue ones I’ve always had, but it does the trick. It definitely warms our pool overnight or keeps it warm when we use it. I did have an issue of it melting together in one spot when I left it rolled up on top of our artificial grass for the day but that’s my fault for not thinking. We are in Las Vegas and it was over 110 and the fake grass really heats up. Other than that, I’ve used it for a couple of months now and so far so good. Living in extreme heat as I do, I don’t expect these to last more than a couple of years. So hopefully this one won’t let me down. Side note, I do typically store it properly when it’s off the pool and I wrap it and store it in the garage over the winter. Hopefully this will add to its life. **UPDATE 2 years later: The cover is now 2 years old and we are beginning the 3rd summer of use. I’ve noticed that the cover tears very easily, much more so than the thicker blue models we’ve always had prior to this one. Other than that, it seems to be holding up about average considering the extreme heat in Las Vegas. However, because of the tearing in a few areas, I will not purchase this model or style again. Hope this helps with anyone else considering this cover.

Heats the water and prevents evaporation
Have the clear 14-mil version. A month in, and I've been pretty happy. Installed in April, and within a week, the water temperature had risen 10 degrees, in SoCal (from 70 to 80). We do get lots of sun, and this was the first time we had ever swum in April in our pool. After another 70-degree week in May, we're up to 87. Without the cover, we certainly wouldn't have gained more than 5 degrees in the same span - we'd always loose a lot of heat in the cool nights. We have a kidney shaped pool, and it was fairly easy to stretch across the pool, draw the edge with a sharpie, and cut to size with scissors. I've left a few inches extra on all sides so that it wraps up the edge of the pool tiles, and leaves some flexibility when aligned it back to fit each time. Never have had trouble with wind blowing it away. But if you leave the edges long and curled up, rain water collects on top rather than flowing into the pool. Removal is a little tricky, but it can be rolled long-ways, and then rolled again into a manageable cylinder. It's not heavy to lift. It feels very sturdy, dragging it along our concrete. After some practice, typically 5-7 minutes to remove and reinstall, just 1 person. 2 people certainly make it simpler. A rectangular pool would also be easier. The warmth is nice, and we also haven't had any evaporation - so no pool refilling yet. I almost think it'll be too good: I don't want the water 90 degrees, but I do want to avoid evaporation in the summer.

Didn’t last long / $80 to replace under warranty
I ordered this in April of this year 2026, and it has already began deteriorating, ripping apart, clogging up my filters. I live in Arizona and it didn’t last long here. I’ve reached out to the company with this issue, so we’ll see what kind of warranty this pool cover carries. To add to this, before this began happening the cover was great, it helped keep the pool clean and it also contributed to warming up the pool about 10-15 degrees. If it had lasted a reasonable amount of time, instead of 4-5 months, it would have been worth the money. I expected it to at least last a couple summers, but it didn’t even make through 1 whole summer.

Worsk well but only for 15 months until it breaks apart
Barely lasted 18 months in San Antonio Texas. It works well in terms of heating the pool earlier and later in the season, but the durability of the cover is not good. I should have trashed it at 15 months but tried to make it last longer.

So far very good results
This is my second blanket first one lasted for years and was in real good shape when I removed it but I thought 4 years is long enough so I purchased this blanket. purchased clear because I thought maybe we could see the water. can’t really see the water and that’s OK. I think the clear looks fine this one is thicker and heavier than my last one it still works well on the reel but I noticed it does heat the water better and keep the water warm better. not any more difficult to remove or put on so I’m very happy with this blanket. I see a lot of reviews, peoples blankets only lasted a year . I have to say it must be some folks are leaving their blankets exposed to the sun when they’re not on the water . you can’t leave a solar blanket exposed to the sun or even light unless it’s covered with a solar blanket cover. it will heal it self which will cause disintegration quicker. again my first blanket which was not as thick as this one after four years was still in good shape so when it’s not on the pool it must be covered with a solar blanket cover and left out of the sun. I do recommend this product it seems like it’s working great so far happy

The solar blanket really heats the water in the pool.
We live in a warm, windy and mostly sunny place but the pool was always a bit cold and we stopped swimming in it 6 months a year. We left the blanket on the pool when not swimming. In two days, we could feel the water was better. In a week, it was so warm we could just lay in the water at night. My son complained it was more a jacuzzi than a pool, he found it too hot! It's easy to adjust the temperature by letting the cover on more or less time. When the winds blew, the pool cover stayed in place and the water stayed deliciously warm. We have only tried it in spring yet and we love it. The cover arrived very quickly. It was bulky but not to heavy for two people. The blanket was easy to cut to follow the shape of the pool. One person can put or remove the cover but it is easier and faster with two people. We also noticed less water loss probably due to less evaporation. On the minus side, the pool doesn't look as beautiful with the plastic cover on the water. You see plastic, not water. You have to get used to the hassle of removing the cover when you want to swim. But for us, it is well worth it. We love our warm water and our only regret is to not have bought one earlier.

Great product. I like how thick and sturdy the blanket feels. It heated my pool up more quickly than other blankets I have had in the past. I hope it lasts for years!

which means no more disgusting bird waste
It works very well. So far, I have not used my furnace and the water is warmer than ever. Another surprise is that birds think there is no water and stop visiting, which means no more disgusting bird waste.

Buena calidad y tamaño.
La calidad del protector es buena, al ser transparente permite el paso de la luz lo que calienta mas el agua del alberca sin que se pierda temperatura. Bien empacado y en buenas condiciones, completo y sin rasgaduras.

Pricepoint! Compare apples to apples!
Price point was excellent. We also purchased a sun protectant cover. We shall see after a year how it is. We are very happy with the quality as the seams are welded instead of our old one that was stitched and it always collected dirt in the over flap.

Good Quality & Value - Thick & Strong
Quality looks to be very good. Thick strong plastic with bubbles on one side and the other side flat. Good that it is Canadian made! Price excellent for the quality - better than others that I studied online and in-store. It arrived very quickly and was wrapped well in a 18 x 48 inch roll. It was easy to trim to size with heavy scissors.
