is it airsoft or bb gun

This model you are looking at is an airsoft gun. It could fire bb pellets if you buy different shells specifically for bb pellets. Also I believe when I was shopping for this revolver I saw a model that was made for metal bbs.

Can this be shipped to New York?

We can ship to New York with the exceptions on of the New York City area and Buffalo.

Is the orange tip removable?

Yes, put any tampering with the original product can void your warranty. I've also been advised that it is illegal to do so. Thanks.
