Works well
Easy to install but like the instructions state, just keep checking the level. Solidly in the ground and my 20’ flag pole odds nice and perpendicular. Glad I purchased this.

Holds up well
I've used this for two seasons and it was easy to put in the ground. Hold my BIG umbrella fine.

Works great!
I tried several other ways of keeping my 9ft umbrella stable before I found this product, none of which were successful or worked nearly this well! I used a 2 in PVC pipe to provide a tighter fit and add stability and it worked perfect! The red plastic rings they included help, but I do have to push them back into place occasionally. I drilled a hole through the PVC pipe and the umbrella pole and put a bolt through to prevent my umbrella from spinning or lifting up and flying away when the wind is high, but as you can see, my patio is tiny and the ribs of my umbrella are held into place by the wall, so I haven't had to use the bolt. I usually keep the umbrella closed unless it's raining, but I've had it open and tilted during storms with winds gusting up to 25 mph. It moved and wobbled a bit, but mostly held steady. I live in central Texas, soil a mix of dirt, clay, and small rocks, and had no trouble getting this into the ground with the rebar provided. It was in there pretty tight until we had several days of hard rain, and now it's a bit loose, but still holding. I shoved a couple rocks between the dirt and the pole and it's more stable now. I personally think this is a fantastic product, high quality, heavy duty, and I'm so glad I found it!!

Worked in Arizona
This worked well in Arizona. Arizona has very hard ground and sometimes a natural concrete called caliche. This thing is built like a tank and had no issues digging into Arizona hard ground.

A 30 dollar item that need 11 dollars of maintenance each year?
It does work, but… after one summer the red plastic sleeve adapters & cap are weathered and cracked. You can order replacement direct from AGS for $4 - but shipping costs $7. Looking into other options. Only other gripe may just be me, but… I’ve never been able to get one of these to set perfectly into the ground and the pole always ends up tilted a bit.

Quality
Well built, quality pieces, sturdy, heavy duty. Very happy with it.

Terrible
Would not screw into ground at all. As I twisted it with down pressure it was just pulling the dirt up rather that pulling the post down.
