It tastes much more natural than you'd expect and that was a pleasant surprise. One thing I will flag, and this is more of a general sugar-free product caution than a specific criticism of this one, is that like many sugar-free alternatives, there is a possibility it could have a laxative effect if consumed in larger quantities. This is pretty common with sugar-free syrups and products using sugar substitutes, so it's worth being aware of. Personally, I use it in moderation and haven't had any issues at all, but it's the kind of thing worth keeping in mind if you're planning to go heavy on the pancake stack. The 710ml bottle is great value and lasts well when used sensibly. If you love maple flavour and want something you can enjoy without the calorie guilt, this is well worth picking up.

Hands down the best and most authentic tasting maple syrup. Other brands you can get or find in the supermarkets here in the UK are awful and watery in comparison. This is my go to on my health journey. Protein sourdough, turkey rashers and this… match made in healthy heaven haha

A reasonable approximation of maple flavour for a calorie free condiment. But the texture lets it down; more like shower gel than syrup. I’d buy it for a diabetic, or if on a diet, but it’s not a sufficient facsimile for regular use.

I buy literally everything on Amazon and it's rare that'll I'll post a review as it would be a full time job! BUT I had to write a review on this little fella! This sugar free maple syrup is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and tastes/feels just like the real thing. It's texture and consistency is perfect, the taste is divine and you 30ml of it is only 10 calories! (cue drenching pancakes). I will be a return/repeat buyer of this for sure!

Tastes great, nice and sweet without the calories.

I've been getting into overnight oats and lots of recipes call for maple syrup. I was looking for a more healthy option and heard about this sugar free syrup. I think I wanted what everyone wants, maple syrup but healthy. The truth being, as it always is, to make something "healthy" you're going to make trade offs. Yes this syrup is sweet and it tastes of maple, but it's not syrup. Syrup by definition is meant to be thick. This is more accurately maple flavored liquid. If you're looking for something to pour on your pancakes that is better for you then perhaps this could be an option. However if like me you're just looking for something sweet and maple flavored to build out a recipe then I wouldn't buy this. If I had to do it again I'd just get one of those concentrated sugar free maple flavorings in a tiny bottle. I'd achieve the same thing and save a lot of cabinet space.

I've been using Maple Grove Farms Sugar Free Syrup for many years now. Is it as good as pure maple syrup? Of course not! But it does taste good, and it has a nice consistency and is very low in calories. I use it both as a syrup on pancakes and waffles and also as a sweetener in baking, oatmeal and smoothies. I'm never without a bottle, and considering the extremely low price, there's always a backup in my pantry.
