Bodyglide Anti-Chafe (0.45oz)

I am no athlete... I bought this product for chaffing thighs when I'm wearing dresses. I have tried everything to rid myself of that painful rash caused by sweaty thighs rubbing together; talcum powder, baby oil, stick deodorant. All provided short relief but needed reapplying regularly: not a pretty sight in public. I was about to give up, my online shopping basket filled with trousers for my upcoming holiday, when I stumbled across this product. I was disappointed to see the 'ladies' version was more expensive (pink tax..) but I can't really see what could be different about it. This product changed my whole summer. Apply and it lasts for a considerable amount of time. If I were out for an entire day from 9am to 6pm, I might reapply the once, when I go to the bathroom but this isn't a problem as the little package is very portable and easily slips in even the smallest of bags. It doesn't feel greasy or irritate skin (the first time I applied it, my thighs were irritated from previous chaffing but there wasn't a problem!) I honestly love this product. It lets me wear shorts and dresses and finally I don't have to worry about that on hot summer days. So so worth the small amount it costs and I can see it would last for ages! LOVE.

I am a middle aged man who jogs to keep fit. Like many larger men, I sweat a lot when exercising. After about 40 minutes or so on the treadmill I was suffering badly from 'joggers nipple'. Very sore indeed. I did some Googling and read runners web sites, and this product got a lot of name checks, so I thought it was worth a go. It is very small, not much more than an inch square. Having said that, when used on such a small area it should last for ages. Does not feel at all slimy, is colourless, and almost odourless. It works perfectly for me. I can now jog for an hour or more at a time with no discomfort whatsoever. Perfect.

This stuff is great. Prevents blistering and chaffing, but the pack is way too small and it's quite pricey - doesn't last very long if you're a regular runner and have hot spots that need protecting.

I'm somewhere between Kelly Brook and Reble Wilson in body type and I have spent my "fat life" wearing trousers, tights or those horrid short things under dresses and skirts. A friend suggested this product (she's thin, she uses it for where her sports bra rubs) and its great. Feels weird (like you're deoderising your inner thigh) but it works. I was doubtful at first but it's been the hottest days of the year so far...usually when I'd put trousers on and end up with chafe free thighs but heat stroke...this stuff has worked! I'm really impressed and would definitely buy again. Apparently it's also good if your shoes rub you....looks like I'll have to buy a new pair and test it out ;)

I was recommended this by a marathon running friend to help my feet as I was suffering with blisters. New trainers were needed to solve the problem but while my feet were healing this really did help to protect them from any further damage. The added bonus is that its also great for 'chub rub', yes on hot days my thighs rub together and get really sore and want to be able to wear nice skirts and dresses and not have to wear tights or weird granny shorts underneath and well this really does work. Brilliant product.

This may seem like a silly complaint, but I ordered the 0.45oz size (as posted here) for the sole purpose of its size being small enough to keep in my purse, however, I received the larger 0.80oz which is too big for my purpose. All in all, the product works, I'm just a bit disappointed in the delivery mixup.

Oh bodyglide. You have saved me on countless occasions. Me being a large thigh-ed man, it seemed I was doomed to a lifetime of chafe. There would be days where I couldn't get out of bed because I knew that I would be victim to the air humidity outside (screw YOU British summer!) causing my inner thighs to generate heat on level with a supernova. All I'll say is just try it folks. I know the name is a bit dodgy but you'll soon realise that this is the solution to all your chafe needs. EMBRACE THE GLIDE, let go of that friction, and become the strutter you've always wanted to be.

This item clearly specified that it could be used on chafing to help heal, it did the opposite for me. I swiped it on once over it and within an hour the small barely chaffed area had expanded to 4 by 5 inches across my thigh. My first use was in a foreign country and i had to use a painful cream and powder, wrapped in a bandage and kept on for the rest of my holiday. I could not go near water or walk if my thigh touched. The burning and painful sensation was unbearable to move with and If i could attach the photo of it I would. This product ruined my holiday and i still, 2 weeks later, have a remaining scar which is going to take a long time to get rid off. Overall, this product made a small problem into a huge and painful one. Thanks body glide for ruining my holiday and leaving an ugly mark on my thigh. Not very happy.

Saved my ass, literally! Great stuff. Used this on a 220 KM+ ride, worked wonders. Took forever to arrive though.

So thankful for this BodyGlide! I brought it with me to DisneyWorld and am very thankful for it. I put it on my thighs, since it was hot outside and I had to wear shorts, and it definitely helped prevent my thighs from chafing. It’s smooth, yet doesn’t feel like there’s anything on your skin. Those long days at DisneyWorld could have been very uncomfortable. I also lent it to a friend to use as a last-minute remedy for her wedding shoes, as they were rubbing on her skin too much, and she said it helped ease what was going to be very painful. It’s winter now and I don’t have much need to wear it, but once it warms up and I’m in shorts or dresses again, this stuff is going to be a lifesaver.
