Adaptiv D-01-07 AdaptivMount Control Mount

The part is a quality part, but I had to drill through the radar detector plastic quick release bracket that came with speaker holes to make a big hole through all of speaker holes, through the plastic plate and into and through the 1st top plate of the adaptiv mounting plate. If you dont do this, and u r not using bluetooth, the sound of the radar detector gets muffled, as the plastic quick release plate sits flush on the adaptiv top plate. Maybe I missed something, but I think not.

Perfect bracket for mounting the radar detector. Fits on the brake or clutch reseviour mounting bracket. fits and looks like it is a stock item. Gives a firm, solid mount or the radar detector. Could also be used as a phone mount.

Well, all the screws on the top are starting to rust. I'll take them off do away with the rust, put them back on, then paint them. This is a motorcycle mount, you should really shouldn't include hardware that rusts. :( Other than that, I think this is a great product. I recommend this, with a bit of black paint for the exposed hardware (screws and nuts).

The mount device is really nice, a bit pricy but works great with the Adaptive TPX Radar Detector 2.0. Looks good on the bike and it reaches over the fairing to give a clean view of the road on a 2010 Harley Ultra Classic.4 1/2 stars. If it was a little less pricy it would be 5.

Blackened steel screws are NOT rustproof. Very annoying... Will have to replace all the screws with stainless versions...Not exactly inexpensive to do.
