Well illustrated.
I bought Monet and Van Gogh(two of my favourite painters) Must say, amazing books, with a timeline of events related to the works of these artistes. Must buy for Any particular art enthusiasts or anyone looking to learn about any particular artist or style or history in general:)

Not recommended very dull painting plates
The picture plates are dull. In comparison I bought the Taschen book (same publisher) on VanGogh from a london museum and the plates were very vivid in that. It is a shame because Monet was a master and painter of light. I am making do with reading the book and checking the paintings on the internet. I would not recommend the book. If you dont know the beauty of Monet then this book will not help. Very dissapointed. Seems the publisher is dumping substandard printed books in India at a higher price.

Very good book!
It's a beautiful book, it has photos and tells you where you can find the original artwork. It's hardcover and of very good quality; I think it's excellent for the price. Perfect as a gift.
