Logitech K270 Wireless Keyboard UK Layout Black 920-003745

I first bought one in July 2015 which has worked flawlessly since. So when my wife asked for a new keyboard I got her one too. You can see in my photo that the keyboard layout is the same on the two I have received. Note, this layout is different to the one currently shown in this listing's photos. In particular, my two are UK layouts as they have a £ sign. Several reviewers has said that the unifying receiver was missing. The included single page instructions suggest the unifying receiver will be found tucked in behind the back of the keyboard, where there is a slot. But it is not. They have a slot for it directly on the cardboard box. The listing has a photo showing this. After removing the plastic strip from the batteries, like another reviewer, I too thought that they weren't working. So, I took them out and reinserted them, and all started working fine. On a side note, I was worried that there would be an issue using two of the same keyboards in the same room but they worked fine independently right from the start, without me bothering to install any software on my wife's PC.

Make no mistake, this is what a quality keyboard is like. Keys go down with a nice sound and touch. The keyboard has a nice layout like a full sized keyboard (e.g. F<N> keys are in groups of 4 with spacing between them). And the multimedia keys are useful (and require no Function key combination, they are standalone). At the same time, the keyboard size is kept at a minimum. No unnecessary space is wasted "around" the keys. So the keyboard looks compact, while being full sized. Another nice touch: there's a caps lock physical LED, unlike most wireless keyboards. Super useful. I can't recommend enough. It is the second time I buy this keyboard model, for two different computers. No regrets.

It's a standard logi keyboard. I was slightly disappointed that the box was ripped open on the side and the kb was obviously taken out. (the wrapping around the kb was dislodged) The delivery guy was tops as he waited for me to ensure that the kb was OK and the important USB dongle was present. I wouldn't use this for gaming. The rest of the scores relate to sending out an open box which is a bit shabby tbh.

I have brought this keyboard for years as it has been good a feeling keyboard for me for years. I brought a new one of these as my previous one was having issues with keys not responding. The batteries that were in the keyboard were dead when I plugged in the receiver for it. The keyboard was on when I took it out of the packaging so if you purchase this keyboard may need to get some AAA batteries for it.

Does the job beautifully, effortless connection through the unifying receiver. Must remember to put a layer of nail varnish on the key surface to stop the lettering wearing off, like the last one did!

Works intermittently and drops part of what you type. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. I bought it in June so it is too late to claim a refund. Now just a piece of junk.

Keyboard is large and easy to use - easy to see the numbers/letters and easy to press.

Edit 7/24/23: I just picked up a Logitech compact wireless mouse, M325. It did have the unifying symbol on it, and I was able to very easily sync it up with the keyboard. Took about 10 secs for it to do it. I just bought this to replace a keyboard/mouse combo I picked up at the W store about 2 years ago. It's the same model, but this is slightly different. It's white on the bottom, the keys are really quiet and seem smoother, and this one has the unifying dongle to it. My other one was not unifying, and the mouse had gone out. That's when I discovered about the "unifying", and so it was either pay a few more dollars for this keyboard that is unifying and buy a separate unifying mouse, or buy the same combo that isn't unifying which was on sale for 17. And seeing as if one goes out on the combo, you can't just buy another to use on the same dongle, I went this route. I figure in the long run this would be the cheaper option. I had another mouse handy that is not unifying, and it would not sync up with this keyboard. So, if you want one dongle to run both mouse and keyboard, as well as other stuff you need to look for that orange symbol on the dongle or package. Then you need to use the software on the logitech site to sync them together. IMO kinda dumb. Just make everything sync up together. Overall, decent keyboard for me for basic medium web browsing type of use, no gaming. I have the keyboard about a foot away from the monitor, and no issues with it. My old keyboard was still working ok, it just had a bunch of dust and gunk in the keys and a few keys I never use popped off and lost due to my cat digging it up for some reason. I had spilled stuff on it before, and it still worked fine. Battery had lasted, it was going on about 2 years I'd had it.

The keyboard was purchased as it offers Unifier connectivity. I had never looked at my mouse closely which is a Logi M310. The mouse to my surprise was as well a unifier device. I ordered the keyboard to allow operation of a laptop with the screen closed. Setup was easy after I figured out the process. I had downloaded the Logitech software. I tried to connect the mouse and it was a no go. I did the turnoff the device instruction but no connection. I also reset the mouse thru the software programme. The solution was simple with the keyboard unifier receiver plugged into the laptop port I decided to toggle the actual keyboard on and off and that resulted in the mouse connecting to the unifier receiver that was supplied with the keyboard. The M310 mouse that I purchased a year ago did not come with a unifier receiver. Everything works perfect out of the box on day one.

This keyboard is everything they say it is, and has a great rebound feel to the keys that professionals like, without being noisy. Syncs with laptop immediately, no delay
