Chakir Turkish Linens Premium Cotton Absorbent Turkish Towels (Bath Towel - Set of 4, Gray)

I had purchased some Chakir towels for my husband and then I decided to get some for myself. This listing is for larger bath towels than I got before! They are a few inches longer and that is a good thing for anyone who is plus sized. They go all the way around you! The teddy bear softness of these towels can not be overstated. They are cuddly towels that wrap you up in a luxurious spa-like feeling. If you want you can put these towels in the dryer and fold one up before you get in the shower. So warm and comforting! These are the best Turkish towels I have found here so far! My husband gave me all his Chakir towels and I gave him all my older towels to use up. We are both happy! He likes towels that are rougher and used more and I love new fluffy towels. You can't go wrong with these...if I had more room I'd get more! ~The Rebecca Review

My S/O and I needed new towels. I picked purple, and he picked orange to my dissatisfaction, but that's love, baby. The purple and orange colors are exactly as pictured. They are nice and big...not bath-sheet big, but a very nice size, and they did NOT shrink after washing and drying (yay!). These are so thick and soft, especially after washing with fabric softener (the softer the better for me, personally). I followed the directions to WASH SEPARATELY FROM EVERYTHING - probably because the color(s) will bleed and stain your clothes or other towels. More specifically, I washed the purple towels alone and the orange towels alone - so I didn't mix them at all. I dare say this is a must, since it seems like other people had bad experiences with color bleeding. That said, the color of the towels (if they bled) did not fade at all, and there's no evidence of color bleeding on my skin after I use the towels after a shower. You have to wash them first, though, which I think is basically common sense... I haven't found these to pill, or "shed" lint in any way, either. My partner is SUPER picky about towels that shed lint on you, and I'm not particularly a fan either, but it doesn't drive me crazy like it does him. Luckily, these pass the test, and he's very happy, and so am I. I searched a long time for quality towels within our budget, and we are very happy with this purchase, even though they are a bit on the expensive side. I highly recommend these towels!

Absorbency: We bought two sets based on the length and the impression that these would be thick, like in hotels. The good news is that they are a nice long length, soft, and a clean white color. We had no problem with link, as mentioned in some reviews, but we line dry our laundry. The disappointing news is that these are not thick and fluffy. They are about the same as other towels I have previously purchased. But the price and delivery time and extra length were all important so I will keep and enjoy them. I just want to say that any marketing about thick Turkish towels is misleading.

I wasn't impressed with these when I first took them out of the box. They didn't seem to thick or soft. So I washed them and they seemed to have fluffed up and felt softer. They washed up fine, no strings or damage like some other reviews had stated. And wow they left a lot of lint in the dryer. After folding them, I compared the stack to a stack of my old towels and realized how thick and fluffy these really are. My new stack was taller than my old stack of favorite towels. They look just like they do in the photo, big and fluffy. They are pretty soft too. After using one I thought it was very absorbent and not a single piece of lint on me.

The set of four white towels has proven to be a great buy in the month I've had them. They are glistening white, absorbent, super soft, larger than average bath towels (but aren't a bath sheet) and wash up perfectly. There's been no problem with lint or shrinkage and they've been washed and dried as directed several times. I did follow exactly the wash and dry instructions (and left out fabric softener as recommended in the product info I'd read earlier) and they came out just as soft as when I unpacked them. I regret not buying the washcloths from the same source but succumbed to the "Oh, well, the cheapy things will be just fine" - but they weren't, so I'll be buying those soon!

These are a nice towel. Well made and plush. I like the big selection of colors to choose from. I’m a big person and the size of the towel is great.

I was a little disappointed in these because I’d like them to be a little thicker with denser loops in the terry. They don’t look like they’ll hold up well. However, the price was tight and they’re soft for the moment and a really pretty shade of pink.

I've had a set of these towels for at least five years - maybe more like seven or eight, it's been so long that I'm not even sure when I got them. They've held up perfectly over this time with no fraying or loose seams at all. I don't treat them special in any way, just throwing them in with the laundry on the normal cycle. They aren't as soft and fluffy as they used to be, but they are still absorbent as ever. I expect they'll last several more years at least. I just bought another set, and they appear to be identical short of a slight change to the logo on the tag. I'll be sure to update this review if I have any issues with them. Update: One month to the day and I've had no issues, but I wanted to mention that, as some other reviews have said, these do produce a LOT of lint in the dryer when they're new. Wash and dry them before first use, and make sure to clean the lint filter. Mine have been through the wash a few times and are now leaving behind less lint, but still more than the older towels.
