I really love these shoes! These brogues make for a different kind of flat: somehow both fun and classic at the same time. They appear to be well made, and the leather is supple and lustrous. As other reviewers noted they run small, my foot is a 6 wide but because of problems with plantar fasciitis I usually buy a 7 to accommodate the arch support insoles my podiatrist recommends. It seems they don’t make a 7 so I bought the 7 1/2, with my arch supports in place they fit like gloves! Right now I can only wear them with the thinnest socks but I suspect with time the leather will give a little. The outsole isn’t smooth or slick like some other similar shoes so they won’t slide on tile or hardwood. The shoe’s insole has some cushion to it, but there isn’t a lot of arch support in the shoe itself, if you have any kind of arch problems/pain you’ll want to go big enough to add an insert as I do. If you’re looking for something a little different from what everyone else is wearing but is also a classic that will wear well for years, this is it.

I have purchased high-end oxfords that were almost twice as expensive, and the quality and fit of these shoes is far superior. I wish I could return all those others and replace each one with a pair of these. They fit like a glove and don’t require the “break-in” period that other shoes demand. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the insole is slightly cushioned and has some arch support. I usually have to wear orthotics with my shoes (even athletic shoes) to avoid foot pain, but I can wear these all day without any trouble. I also normally have issues with heel slippage in oxfords and flats, but my heels stay put and I’ve had nary a blister. Last but not least, the leather is richly pigmented a beautiful ruby red that has not, so far, stained my pants hems or my socks. I will be buying more pairs of these shoes in various colors.

Exceeded my expectations. These shoes look so much more expensive than they cost. I first tried a 7.5 and they were too long; I returned for a 6.5 and they were perfect - I am a true 7. No idea why they don’t make an actual size 7 shoe?? I have a normal width foot so I didn’t find them too narrow at all. I wore them right out of the box and walked around for about an hour - no break in for me, comfortable and amazing. The color will go with everything. I’m actually planning outfits around these shoes. Buy and love.

I’m extremely bummed, I was so excited for these and they’re beautiful shoes, however, I hadn’t even worn these for more than a few hours before they got scuffed. The “leather” on the toe peeled back so it was technically more than a scuff.. I spent a little more on these thinking they’d last, but I feel like real leather wouldn’t do this to this extent. All I did was walk down the side walk and hit my toe on the step on accident as I was stepping up. Even then if it scuffed a little I can understand but for it to literally peel back I think shoes that the craftsmanship needs to have some revamping.

I love these shoes! They are very good quality leather, soft on the sides and firm on toes and heal, so it will hold shape. I know what I want and only buy shoes that I need. I've been looking for oxfords for a while and finally I found a pair I wanted. They are pleasant to wear barefooted, since it's a genuine leather inside and comfortable to wear with socks. Since I have a wider foot, following many advises above, I did get one size up than my usuall 9. I got ten and made a right choice, it's a perfect fit. I wore them couple of times already and didn't have any problems.

I was a little nervous shelling out $100 for Amazon shoes but had kept these on my wishlist for a hot minute. After having been disappointed in a cheaper, similar style I ordered from another brand (a bit more boxy and just, not a great look on my feet) I went ahead and put the order in for these, telling my husband that if I wasn't thrilled with these I'd return them and give up on the style.They showed up beautifully packaged and seeing the lovely colors of the leather, I knew we had a winner. It's not a wide fit but that was perfect for my foot size, and imo lets it look a bit more sleek than the other brands I looked at. I wear them to the office and have already gotten multiple comments on them. In short, I'm very happy and they have quickly become a wardrobe staple for me.

Where to start.... the shoes arrived earlier than expected. When I opened the box it only got better! Beautifully packaged in a high quality shoe box, each shoe thoughtfully nestled in its own storage bag, a sample of the leather included for future repairs... and then it got even better! I took the shoes out of their bags and let me say: the pictures don’t do the shoes justice. Very well made, a perfect fit (I ordered my normal size and they fit like a dream), and exactly the color I expected (I ordered them to go with a very unusual Italian shoulder bag that I’ve never quite been able to match). These shoes are Old World quality. A pleasant surprise.

I ended up purchasing a second pair after wearing the first pair of shoes for only a day. I was amazed how comfortable the shoe ended up being. In fact, when the shoes first arrived, I put off wearing them for several weeks because they kind of looked uncomfortable - I was totally surprised and will most likely order a third pair!
