NEVER GIVE UP

Have to tell everyone, This is a wonderful book. When you are really downcaste or dejected or need some kind of encouragement then this book is for you. I would like to thank the seller who gave me an excellent copy with a book mark and also the author Joyce for writing such wonderful book. Thanks once again.

It was a such a great book and I love Joyce meyer and preaching. Go for it guys it was amazing.

Everyone should buy this

This book helped me a lot to take up things that I gave up. It's gives u great motivation to start new things in your life and make things better in our life! The author has written it in very easy understandable way!More preferred for Christians!

This is my first Joyce Meyer book, and definitely my last. I expected something new and different based on the high ratings, but the content of this book is generic and rather sad. What I found even more disappointing is that she rarely mentions Bible verses and Bibical based advice, instead she had filled the pages of this book with stories of successful secular men and women who have braved the odds. If I wanted a generic secular book on success I would have purchased much better books.

Joyce Meyer is an excellent writer. Her stories are real, and she is not shy in expressing her own stories and struggles. There is a lot to take away from this book and is so on point with our everyday struggles. Important to remember that the journey and circumstances may be difficult, but victory may be just around the corner if we never give up. We are never alone and with God we can be overcomers. Never disappointed with any books by Joyce Meyers. P

I've read a few of Joyce's books before (and loved them) but this is my favorite (so far). Practical, powerful and straight to the point, Joyce delivers a message of hope, and inspiration. Filled with true accounts of how others made it happen despite insurmountable odds, each chapter is filled with encouragement, practical tips and wisdom and of course the occassional laugh. We are all humans striving to be the best that we can be and we all stumble and have those days or weeks of doubt, problems, setbacks, yet through it all Joyce reminds us about the ever loving power and grace that God has available to each of us to "power through" and attain the prize on the other side. HE WANTS US TO SUCCEED! What joy to be reminded of this. This book deeply moved me and helped to "set me back on track". This is one I'm not putting away too far, I will be refering to it every time I hit a roadblock - whether mental or physical. Thank you Joyce for another classic. Thank you God for using your servant Joyce to remind us of your plan for us - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11.

I'm a bit late to the party when it comes to Joyce Meyer. It's only about six weeks ago that I caught one of her half-hour shows on Freeview and subsequently found myself tuning in regularly, as what she said made sense for where I am in my life right now. If you have not been treated well in your childhood - never been praised or encouraged - and have lived your life feeling somehow 'less', then this is the book for you. Joyce teaches in easy-to-understand fashion that no matter how many times Life kicks you in the teeth, you must NEVER GIVE UP because each setback is just telling you that you need to tackle things in a different way, or go in a different direction. I'm not a church-goer so some of the Christian teachings will be more relevant to others than to myself, but when Joyce talks from the heart and tells you how she has coped with the horrendous things done to her, it really makes you sit up and take notice. I highly commend this book to you because anyone, no matter what you've been through or are going through right now, will get something out of it, I can promise you. For me, it taught me that I must learn (and practice) Forgiveness because I was holding on to bitterness and that (apparently) is why I feel 'stuck' and find it difficult to move on with my life. It's also why I don't feel any happiness, no matter what good things come along. It's difficult when parents, colleagues and ex-partners let you down when you do all you can to make them happy and fulfil their expectations of you but do you know what? I'm not bitter any more. I forgive them for treating me the way they did and (as Joyce says - differently worded): "what goes around, comes around". Let's hope it does.

As always, Joyce has written a winner! True stories, brutal honesty, and a "stop feeling sorry for yourself, be grateful for what you've been given, and get goin'" message! Highly recommend this boook!

Joyce Meyer is one my favorite speakers/authors as she has been terribly wounded and, through her close relationship with Jesus Christ, has found healing. She shares her experiences and what she's learned so that the reader may also find the same healing she found. She's a great teacher and encourager, and she's very down to earth. What you see is what you get with her, and I love her to pieces. I've been going through something that has been long and hard to deal with, and this book has helped me to hang in there even when the going gets really rough. It gives me hope that if she can do it with God's help, so can I. Great book. Great lady. Even greater God!
