How many lumens does it have?

The bulb will have an efficacy of 17-20Lumens per watt, so in total 500W = 8,500-10000 lumens.

Are there lesser wattage bulbs available that will work in this light or do I have to use the 500 watt bulbs?

any bulb size will work in lamp

does it come with a clip (Handy clamp)?

no there is no clamp. I used mine when I was stripping and sanding and refinishing hardwood floors in my house. My only complaint is that there is no "off"/"on" switch. It comes on when you plug it in. The cord is very short.
