This worked well
This was a straightforward repair “on paper” but it ended up taking me a couple hours to get it installed without breaking it. I definitely suggest watching a couple YouTube videos showing the process before you tackle it yourself. To be clear, I have solid mechanical skills, but it just takes a lot of fines to get this installed without breaking the various plastic tabs.

Looks like new!
I only needed to replace one side and was skeptical that it wouldn’t match the original one on the other side, but was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty much a perfect match. There is no functionality to this plastic end cap….it is merely cosmetic….so no need to waste money on an OEM replacement in my opinion. I’m happy with my purchase.
