Kester 1544 Liquid Soldering Flux, Activated Rosin, 2oz Bottle

Works well

With this being the same formular within the core of the legendary Kester 44 Solder, I'm not surprised it's the best supplemental flux for when you need extra flux. Needle cap is very good, but you have to wash it out each time (pine tar derivative, go figure). Price is high, but it's an honest hustle for those (me) not wanting to buy a large quantity.

This liquid soldering flux works very well. The needle dispenser really allows pinpoint application of the product. I'm a trolley modeler, build my overhead contact system from scratch. Accurate soldering is a must!

This soldering flux is great! With the regular kind, working outside, it'd always get dirt and grime in it and contaminate my solders. This liquid is easy to apply, stays clean, and assists in some very nice soldering jobs. Highly recommended.

I ordered three different fluxes because the descriptions did not help in deciding which one I wanted. I assumed that the information would come along with the product but it did not. I eventually went to the Kester website to get the details. 1544 was the one I needed. Also, one of the three did not have a dispense nozzle, but instead had an extra cap.

Good, general purpose electrical rosin flux. Supplied with a needle-like dispenser tube. Relatively thin for a liquid rosin flux, but leaves less residue then thicker equivalents. Would be nice if a brush dispenser top was included.
