I cut a lot of 2 7/8 production tubing with .25 wall thickness and 1 inch sucker rod. Would you recommend this blade for that heavy use?

1. We had tested 14x66T by cutting 2 inch ( diameter 50mm ) steel bar, test result is ok. So we think it's ok for cutting 2 7/8 tubing with 0.25 wall thickness and 1 inch sucker rod. 2. This blade is suitable for mild steel and iron, not for stainless steel and high strength quenching steel. 3. We are willing to share any feedback from your side. If testing result is not good enough, we will provide other items depending on your feedback.

I am looking to cut solid bars around 40 to 45 hrc. will this blade work?

Yes, I have cut 1" bars of Manganal steel (similar to AR500) and it works fine. Use an aggressive, even feed and make sure the work is well clamped.

Will this work on my dewalt (14") chop saw? or is rpm too high?

This 14 inch 66T recommond Max rpm 1500, it's suitable for Dewalt Multi-Cutter Saw , DW872. Not Dewalt 14 inch chop saw.
