I've used mine heavily for over a year now
7/2022: I've used this bike a little over a year now, every week that I had it, except for vacation weeks. It has held up very well. I often stand up and ride with the bike set to the hardest peddling level, and it is a great way to get my heartrate up fast and move different muscles. I still love this bike and it has changed my life because on days I don't have time or willpower to go out and exercise this gives me an easy way to exercise while enjoying entertainment indoors. The one improvement I wish they would make to it is that I would like it to fold and unfold more easily. The knob on mine that you have to use to unscrew the hinged legs and then pull it out to then fold the bike is very difficult for me to use sometimes. It also can be difficult for me to get the bike safely snapped back into a correct position when I am ready to use it again. It is easier to just leave the bike set up for me and to move the bike to a storage spot all while keeping it in the fully ready, unfolded position. Folding it is just too difficult to do regularly so I reserve that for times when I really need to get it out of the way. That is the only downside of this bike in my opinion, since I got it in part because it is a small exercise solution for a small apartment. However, even unfolded this bike doesn't take up a huge amount of space, so I am still happy with it despite this design flaw that needs to be improved in the future models. 10/2021: It has been a game changer for me to have this bicycle to ride when i don't feel like it have time to go out for a run or walk. It was easy to put together. It's easy to move, lightweight, and easy enough to fold and put away when needed, though i leave mine out most of the time because i use it often. The chair is very comfortable. It's impressively sturdy, and has held up well to four months of heavy duty use so far. Also, customer service for the company is super responsive. I had a faulty computer part at first and they replaced it with a friendly attitude. Summary: this is a high quality, inexpensive indoor bike that's incredibly quiet, has a great range of resistance, and i can sit and watch shows or surf the internet while i exercise! What's not to like?

This bike is awesome, easy to assemble!
UPDATE: It is now 5 Weeks later, June 28, and I still love this bike. It is still quiet, steady and strong. I use the bike 3x a week and Iโve lost 11 pounds. So Iโm thrilled. Iโm on level 6, so if youโre a real gym rat, it might be a little too easy for you. I use it for 30 minutes, with the bands, and when I get tired of the bands, to mix things up, I move my arms like Iโm running. Let me tell you, when Iโm done, Iโm drenched in sweat. So it does the trick for me. Iโm very happy with this purchase! I highly recommend!******* Original review, May 15: This bike is so much better than I expected. Great quality for the price. Iโm A 52 year old woman, I weigh 250 pounds, 5โ6, inseam 31โ. Iโm not handy at all. The instructions are excellent. So clear. I didnโt need to watch a video to put it together. Took me 2 hours. I took my time, laid everything out. Nothing was damaged, well packaged. The seat is pretty comfortable. I have a big butt, so I feel the bars on the side, but they donโt bother me when pedaling. The back rest is fine. A little higher would have been perfect, but good enough. Itโs quiet so far. Hopefully, that wonโt change. The screen is fine, simple. I can put my iPhone or iPad on it. The bike is steady and strong. I leaned over to grab my phone, which was on a table nearby. No wobble at all. The middle part is high, so you have to use caution when mounting and dismounting. You have to raise your leg and foot high to get over. Be careful and pay attention when youโre getting off, especially if youโve had a good workout and your legs are wobbly. The bands and the fact that you can adjust the bike to a recumbent position are fabulous bonuses. Plus itโs foldable! You cannot adjust the intensity of the bands. But I read a good tip from another reviewer that said she grabbed both bands in one hand to increase the difficulty, so I might try that later. Iโm thrilled with this bike so far. I will give an update in a month. Iโm not sure if this bike would suit a tall person. I guess it depends on how long your legs are. This bike is perfect for me and I highly recommend!

Easy to Assemble and Works Well!
I bought this bike as a present and needed it within days. I was afraid it I would not have enough time to assemble since I ordered close to the b-day I was giving it for. My fears were un-founded since I got it put together with relative ease in two hours. I streamed the "how to" video from the amazon order page on my tv and followed along step by step. I was actually quite proud when I got done and gave it a quick pedal to try it out. The bike pedals smoothly and quietly, and the arm bands in just my quick few minutes really made my arms feel a little tired (I knew the bands were working in other words) For the money spent, I think this is an incredibly nice exercise bike. The digital programming was not super high tech like in a gym or on a unit costing thousands, but that is not what exercise is about. If you need to get moving and start an easy daily routine at home this is a winner in my book!

I've used it a few times!
Only one con so far: distance and calorie readings on computer seem higher than they actually are. Really enjoying this bike so far! I just received it a few days ago and have gotten some good use out of it. I have noticed that the computer has told me that I've burned a large amount of calories with a considerable amount of distance covered... to me, it seems like the numbers may not be too accurate but if I've set the resistance to a 5 or above, I can definitely break a sweat and feel like I've gotten a fairly good workout. Below 5 seems a bit too easy to pedal and while it's still great that I'm getting my legs to move, not sure how much of a workout it's actually giving me that way. The resistance bands for your arms are also great! It's made me notice that this pandemic has definitely taken a toll on my shoulder flexibility and arm strength in general (I guess my fault for being super lazy this year), so it's nice to have that addition on the bike in order to get a bit of an arm/shoulder work out as well. It is super easy to assemble, and actually kind of fun! Also a pretty quiet bike and a great size for a smaller apartment. The adjustable seating and angle is also really nice. Depending on how it's positioned, you feel like your focusing on your core too. Not sure if I can get it to a true upright position, but seems pretty dang close. The recumbent position is also great for my parents to work out on too! Overall, definitely recommend it if you're looking to get out of being sedentary all day and are tight on space and in budget!

Great for tight spaces, and is "as advertised"
I purchased this Slimcycle because I've been walking everyday inside (walk away the pounds with Leslie Sansone) and outside weather permitting, and wanted a cycle to break the monotony. I wanted a recumbant bike but had little space in our apartment so when I saw this I thought it might be a great option. I had some concerns when reading the reviews about the customer service so I purchased an extended warranty/service contract just to be safe at a very reasonable price (around $16 I believe). The bike arrived VERY quickly within 1-2 days! Everything was in pristine condition, and all the equipment/parts were in the box. My husband laid everything out for me but I told him I wanted to put it together so I could write a review about how the assembly went. I had watched the assembly video on amazon when shopping so I just pulled out the manual and cued up my video and away I went - the only discrepency I noticed was that in the video they show the assemblyman attacking a support bar to the front of the main unit (even though they are telling you to attach it to the back verbally) but in the book it was very clear, so I went by the book so that the rollers were on the front end of the bike not the back. Other than that everything went like clockwork and was very easy for a 49 year old woman to put together (without an extra set of hands to help) in about 1 1/2hrs start to finish. Now as to the stability of the unit - I found it to feel very sturdy and I am about 240lbs. My husband also tried it out and found it adjusted well for his height and 280lb frame. The seat cushion is firm, but it is firm in the right place - not on the tailbone or pubic bone, but on the soft padded parts of your backside, of course if you are not padded much it might start to feel a bit too firm before long, but I'll take that anyday over the other options! I've done a 40 minute ride, and a 20 minute ride so far and used various resistances but it is very smooth and quiet in every setting. I wouldn't feel secure standing when cycling on this bike personally, but I have seen videos where others have done so. My 12 y/o 120lb son tried that and didn't seem to have any trouble. I do not see anywhere in the instructions that they do not recommend this either, but in my gutt I don't feel that this bike is designed for that "spinning" style of bike riding, the pedaling mechanism is not designed for high speed/transitions but more for consistent steady paces and my fear would be that it would reduce the life of the mechanism if ridden hard like that. The bands are a great addition and I love that I can increase my HR in intervals while riding by using the arms while still feeling stable, and well supported with the lumbar style back rest (which also conveniently allows for freedom of upper body movement when using the bands). All in all, this is a great little "as advertised" bike that seems well made with the great option of 2 styles of stationary bike. It folds up easily and smoothly to be moved wherever you need it to be. It doesn't weigh so much that it's a burden to move it. the only drawback I have found in the few days I've had it is that unless you are in the hightest stationary bike setting (not recumbant position) you have difficulty reading the digital display because it lays so flat when in the recumbant position. I also wish the seat adjuster was a pull-out spring loaded style knob instead of one you have to unscrew all the way to raise and lower the seat. It's not a major deal, just a personal preference.

Small inexpensive bike that does the job
This product is true to other reviews I read before buying. It took right at 2 hours to assemble, but it is very straightforward. It is SUPER quiet, which is really important for me, living in an apartment with very noise-sensitive downstairs neighbors. It is slender enough not to be too intrusive in the living room, and I have had no problems with the functionality. It IS just a hair too big for me at the shortest setting (I am 5โ0โ), and I have to put a small pillow behind my back so I can comfortably reach the pedals. Things not to expect: if you have a reasonably high level of fitness, this bike will not challenge you. Itโs not a Peloton. I bought this as a quarantine bike after not going to the gym at all for a couple months. At that point, anything counts, and the price is very good for what you get. Also, it does not fold up and store as easily as Iโd like, and I find itโs just too much trouble to put it away and take it back out regularly. So it just stays in the living room. It IS easy enough to roll into another room with the wheels on the front stand, so if company comes over, I can wheel it into another room without too much hassle. I read a lot of reviews in advance, so I knew what I was getting, and Iโm very happy with my purchase.

Excellent Exercise Bike
What with social distancing and staying at home, I decided to purchase an exercise bike for the first time. This bike is outstanding in many ways. 1. I was really impressed with the packaging. All parts were held securely in place and were protected against shipping damage. 2. The instructions were among the best I've ever seen. Not only written instructions, but pictures as well for each step of the assembly. I'm a shade tree mechanic, so very simple instructions would have worked for me, however, these instructions would have made it easy for almost anyone to assemble. 3. Quality of the finished product. The bike is totally stable while riding it. It is incredibly quiet. The computer tells you exactly what you'd be interested in knowing. The seats are comfortable. The addition of the bungee exercise cords is a real plus, as you can also get a workout for your upper body. Overall, a high quality bike at a reasonable price.

Much, much better than I expected!
My 88 year old parents wanted one of these for exercise but I thought it would be a waste of money. Finally ordered them one and it arrived within days and I am very glad to say it is not a cheap excuse for ripping off old people. It is very well engineered and constructed, it is well thought out to be really usable and not a gimmick. It took maybe 15 minutes to assemble and it is much more stable then I expected, even on the carpeting it doesn't make you feel like it is going to fall over, or fall apart. The folks use it several times every day for just a minute or two at a time but they are using it and like it. Like all exercise equipment it only helps if you use it. It folds up easily and even on the carpet it is easy enough to roll into the closet each night to get it out of the way. I am very happy to say I was wrong, it is a nice piece of equipment that justifies the price. It is not cheap, it is very good quality. You can buy cheap stuff and often the only good thing about them is they didn't cost much. I do recommend this to my friends and family.
