I just finished this audiobook and loved it! I'm in desperate need to get back in shape but I've been so confused with all the hype out there from various diets and nutritional plans. Michael Ormsbee discusses how our body works when consuming food and the biology/science behind energy balance. This works for me as I need to understand the process of how my body works. Michael explains, in detail, the process of food absorption and its effects on our body and the significant impact good weight resistance training will do to improve your body composition. It was a helpful explanation of why I'm overweight and how to structure my lifestyle to achieve optimal health and fitness. I've learned alot...now to put it into practice. It's just what I needed.
