I have owned this dvr for about 9 months . It was easy to set up , performs well , is user friendly , and was worth the cost . It is fully compatible with all the other peripherals that were carried over from the old to the new . Hoping , and expecting to have many more months of use from it . I'd recommend this unit .

The last sannce dvr lasted 2.5 years. I use it in my enclosed car trailer to record traffic around me at all times. It has several hard shut downs daily and restarts and records within 45 seconds. It is in the heat all day also. It recently stopped recording after 8 hours for no reason so I bought a new one. I am very impressed with this dvr and quality of picture. Easy to use also. With the 1T storage I can go back over a month to view a situation.

Replacement DVR that died for a CCTV that used obsolete SDI cameras (also obsolete) w/coaxial cable RG59 connectors. We just hooked it up the DVR and it was very easy to do so. We were concerned the DVR and new cameras wouldn't be compatible with each other or the existing wiring but, they worked and the picture is great! Replacement cameras were "HD Camera" Analog CCTV Camera. We had a heck of time finding the correct components - we hope this helps others looking to replace an old SDI system. The cameras came preset to HD TVI and that works with the DVR. Looking forward to seeing the night vision. We do have a blink system which we're happy with however, we love the security of CCTV (can't be jammed) and these cameras are set to cover very specific areas on our property. We didn't initially get a picture but checked and didn't have power to the cameras (no red lights) - turned out to be a loose wire.

I wrote this review earlier today. I was wrong in my assumption because I DID get a refund. It was in the form of a gift card on Amazon which I did not know I had until I ordered something today. I apolgize for stating I did not get a refund since I was only looking on the card and did not know it was a gift card as I did not see anything stating that. Although it had a hard drive, it does no good if it is not recognized. It kept putting a banner over the screen saying no storage device found. NOTHING anyone suggested helped and the banner blocked the cameras. After several hours working on it, it sent it back! Update: Although I was told: Refund issued $111.27 refund issued on Apr 14, 2023. Return received on: Apr 26, 2023 I STILL have not received a refund although I included photos of why this product was USELESS as I could not see what was on cameras because of the flag saying "no available storage for recording" when it had a 1 TB hard drive, it does NO GOOD when it does not reconize it although I spent 7 or 8 hours trying to resolve the problem. I included detailed information of what I did to try to get this product to work. I am going to contest this with my card company, and I will be sending a letter to the corporate office telling them I will NEVER BY ANOTHER SANNCE PRODUCT because of this experience.

These dvrs are excellent for the price. This is the second one I’ve bought. I am using two separate systems on the same Sannce app. Setting them up was WAY EASIER than I thought it would be! I can check either dvr by clicking on them in the app.

The coax plugs were so tightly I couldn’t get them secured without really applying pressure and once connected to a monitor there was 0 navigational operations. I guess it is done through a computer or phone app. I downloaded the app on my phone but it failed to connect to the device. I had it hard wired in to the modem. But based on directions and troubleshooting and faq stories which are over 4 years old I have to skip trying to speak to customer service for support. No on off or reset just a blue light for the power indicator. Ideal for small small spaces but since I have a little more luxury to work with I am returning this one. Value great if I could make it do more than show camera views. But the picture quality was amazing on my tiny monitor.

I don't often review products but I needed to share this after reading other poor reviews. I have 2 of these DVRs and will buy 2 more for other locations. Both are set up on one app on my phone and its easy to use. I created a login set up issue myself buy stopping the set-up before I had entered a recovery email address or security questions. I couldn't remember the password and couldn't recover it. I contacted Sannce online support and I am super impressed with the quality of tech support. I had to download a file, send it to them, receive a replacement file, and upload it. Step by step the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Brilliant service.

Description says HDMI and VGA supported. This isn’t the case as there is only 1 HDMI port and no VGA port at all on the unit.

Hi I’m not happy with this box everything worked fine at first Than the internet connection came loose and now will not go back on line no internet I tried factory reset tried everything, I even had my friend who is up on all that stuff he said u going to have to contact ur seller.
