This is a large, heavy tool and absolutely works incredibly well. I’m impressed and I am not easily impressed. The magnification is fantastic, the lights are very helpful and it’s fits well in my hand. This was a great value for the price.

I use mine for viewing trichomes. The 40x magnification is perfect. I also love the double led lights. It really makes it easy to see what I'm looking at. Great product at a great price.

First time the case was broken. Replacement was prompt. It's a nice instrument. Unpretentious but does what it's meant to do. If you're picky you may find the edges a little rough.

Excellent for looking at coins and jewelry , 40X magnification and made sturdy , its my choice for Loupes and even comes with cleaning rag and case , very affordable price for the quality .

The loop and the light are great. The problem is the metal frame the loop folds into. It is soft and bends inward so that when you close the loop the frame rubs against the light bulbs unless you push it out a bit before you close it. The frame also has slightly sharp edges so you have to be carefull. If they had used better metal in the design it would be a very good product.

This is a great loupe for the money. Big, bright, real glass, surprisingly good depth of field for the magnification level. On that subject: it claims to have a 40x magnification. I’ve never had a 40x loupe before but I did expect it to be a little more dramatically “close.” It is definitely more magnification than my “expensive” 10x Bausch & Lomb jewelers loupe, but doesn’t seem to be 4x the magnification. Maybe it’s not a truly linear thing, I don’t know anything about optics. Still, this is a great unit for the price. Even has the batteries included. Arrivied quickly a safely.

Heavy, larger than expected, good quality lens, lights are very good. I did have a couple of issues however, The case appeared to be broken and was falling apart when I got it. But the clear plastic lid insert was not snapped in place, it would not snap shut until I noticed the pin on the hinge was not in properly. After fiddling with it for a while I managed to reassemble it. The magnifier itself needed the screws tightened. All that said the end result is a very nice lighted magnifier. Hold it close to your eye for a great overall magnified image or back off in distance from the eye for a very high magnification. It is very usable. While at first I thought I would need to return it, close inspection showed it just needed some rework. Well worth the price.
